| 17 | Supply and installation of OFC Jointing/ Blowing pit (RCC pit as per MECON dwg) at both ends of the microtunnel, including complete sand filling etc all complete as per spec, drawing provided in the bid document. The Jointing/ blowing pit shall be provided 2 nos. each at each end of the microtunnel (1 each at each end for each run of HDPE duct with OFC) and 1 no. at each planned/ unplanned joint location. Supply and installation of OFC Joint Marker at every location of OFC Jointing Pit.Scope also includes supply of Jointing Closure (24F) for each Joint Pit. Jointing of laid OFC at both ends of microtunnel shall be carrid out by the bidder. Jointing of the laid OFC shall be done at both ends of microtunnel. | 95 | Providing vehicle (on hire) for carrying personnel connected with GAIL’s offical duty for use locally or any other place (s) and vice-versa as advised from time to time by GAIL. The hired taxies are required to visit work sites in field conditions, in all weathers as per requirement and instruction of GAIL.The rates shall be inclusive of all expenses necessary for the continuation of the service of the hired vehicles (s) throughout the contract duration . Such expenses shall also include ( but not limited to ) Payment to Regional Transport Authorities (Like taxes, fees for obtaining permit, toll taxes, entry taxes, passenger tax etc.), Labour Authority, any Govt./semi Govt., Local and Municipal Authorities, dues, taxes, levies, fees, connected with service, repair and maintenance, fuel/ lubricants, insurance charges, local services, all expenses of the Contractor’s establishment salaries, overtime, bonus, night halt charges, gratuity, etc., of personnel employed for the hired vehicle and any other expenses wherever necessary. |

| 98 | Additional charges per Km. run beyond fixed 3000 Kms. per month |

| 100 | COMMON NOTE: |
| 101 | Contractor shall be responsible for successul execution of work tendered. In case of failure of any of the activities like Installation/Pulling, Gauging/EGP, Post Hydrotesting etc., no payment on account of the work executed shall be paid to the contractor. In addition, all successive payments made through earlier RA bills for any work (supply and/ or execution) shall also be recovered. Loss of free issue material occurred due to failure shall be treated inline with the provision of reconciliation of free issue material. |
