| 3 | Terminal Arrangement:[i] HV & LV side: Cable Box [ii] Quad furcating cable box with five compression glands for PVC Cable and One additional neutral terminal shall be brought out separately for earthing purpose on LV Side.[iii] First filling of new and unused Transformer Oil [IS – 335 Marked], filtered and tested up to 60KV dielectric strength at 2.5mm air gap between testing electrodes. Certification of dielectric strength shall be submitted by the Contractor after filling the oil.[iv] Apart from routine tests mentioned in these tender documents and relevant IS, pre-commissioning inspection of Transformer shall be carried out by Senior Electrical Inspector / Electrical Inspector.[v] All necessary arrangements with devices for measuring the temperature of core winding and oil shall be done by contractor deemed to be included in the quoted rate[vi] Platform for placement ofTransformer shall be as per the manufacturer\"s instructions complete all as specified and as directed. The cost of platform is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. | 7 | [viii] Platform: Platform for the transformer shall be provided as per IE rules of size not less than 2.0mx2.0mx1.8m made of brick masonry using fly ash bricks built in CM 1:6 over 100mm thick concrete bed in PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick hard core of gauge not exc 63mm of broken stone or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers including providing 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 coping in type B-1 over top of platform and rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement and applying three coats of white wash including necessary excavation, earth work as required complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |

VCB Panel indoor type, totally enclosed, free standing, floor mounting type, compartment based with truck mounted Vacuum Circuit Breaker, Spring Operated Electrically and Manually Charged Operating Mechanism suitable for horizontalisolation, horizontal draw out type VCBs with copper bus bars, Self supported Insulated Busbar with full voltage rated should be used. The switchgear panel shall be of sheet steel construction not less than 2.5mm thickness for load bearing section and not less than 2mm thickness for non-load bearing and shall totally dust and vermin proof. Complete VCB panel conforming to IEC 62271-200 standards and IP 4X Class of protection comprising necessary bus-bar extensions and connections and following protective and control devices as specified below. Circuit Breaker shall be suitable for E2, M2, C2 duty. The manufacturer of circuit breaker & panel shall also be the manufacturer of the Vacuum Interrupter. | 11 | Note: The above said panels Earthing truck - 02 Nos. Seperate earthing truck for bus earthing & cable earthing. Earthing truck shall be so designed that it is impossible to earth alive. It shall be provided with capacitive voltage detection with audio visual annunciation. Technical drawings of the VCB panel submitted by the contractor is required to be approved by the Accepting Officer before taking procuremnent action and the VCB panel to be inspected by the rep of Accepting Officer at factory premises as per IS before dispatch. Pre-commissioning inspection of VCB panel shall be carried out by Senior Electrical Inspector / Electrical Inspector. The VCB Panel shaould be SCADA compatible. The numerical relay should have minimum time delay < 20 ms wrt instantaneous and high over current / earth fault conditions meeting the requirements. |
