| 1 | The following precautionary measuresshall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the work :- (a) The tenderer is instructed to keep in mind while quoting their rates that all the painting procedure to be followed under the scope of work.(b) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of material in two phases (i.e. 50% in EACH phase) in sealed containers required for painting works covered in this contract under the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit.(c) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -In-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers.(d) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor, glasses & joinery using professional equipment’s and disinfect complete room as instructed by Engineer-In-Charge. The cost of the same is deemed to be included in tenderer\"s quoted rates.(e) Recovery @ cost of material shall be done from contractor if any material found lying on site after completion of work as per manufacturer\"s instruction and quality satisfaction of Engineer-In-Charge. (f) The work shall be executed upto 15 mtr height and cost of suitable scaffolding shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates by the tenderer. (g) OEM for this work will only be branded material manufacturing company i.e. Asian / Berger / Nerolac and all materials of similar make as approved by GE. |
| 2 | M&L for preparation of old decorated surfaces of wall including brooming, scraping down, smoke spot, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, grasy spotsand stopping nails marksand one coat of white wash on walls complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | M&L complete removalof old decorated surface of wall and applying two coats of oil emulsion distemper white/coloured over one coat of white cement based putty (where it is required) all as specified and directed. Note : putty shall be measured and paid seperately. |
