| 1 | Comprehensive maintenance for a period of 06 (Six) months for Split ACs (Inverter and Non-Inverter) 1.5 / 2.0 TR of Make: BLUESTAR / VOLTAS / LG / O-GENERAL / DAIKIN / VIDEOCON / AMTREX / IFB / HITACHI/ CARRIER OR ANYOTHER MAKEinstalled at various location by carrying out necessary repairs , cleaning filters, adjustment of assemblies , sub-assymblies , check the level of refrigerant , arresting the leakage of any type , replacement of parts, calibration including cleaning of condenser & Evaporator coils fins with mild detergent and descaling of condenser coil for split ACs through any authorised service centre/ agencies as approved by GE,complete all as specified and as directed . |

| 4 | (i) The contractor shall provide the following comprehensive services arising out of wear and tear of the normal running of split /Window AC and the complete tender is to be carried out in twopart (I&II) . |
| 5 | (ii) PART-I : Preventive and corrective maintenance to be commencedimmediately after commencement of work and to be completed within six months. The Authorised service Engineer ofcertified agencies as approved by GE, shall inspect the equipment for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenence on all the units installed at site . This includes maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and electronics part/sub-assemblies . The preventive maintenence report will be as per the original equipment manufacturer\"s instruction and based on maintenance report if any parts/sub-assemblies defects found shall be replacedand as specified in particular specification . |
| 6 | (iii) PART-II : Preventive and corrective maintenance to be commenced after expiry of six months from the date of commencement of work and to be completed before completion date .The Authorised service Engineercertified agencies shall inspect the equipment for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenence on all the units installed at site . This includes maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and electronics part/sub-assemblies . The preventive maintenence report will be as per the original equipment manufacturer\"s instruction and based on maintenance report if any parts/sub-assemblies defects found shall be replacedand as specified in particular specification andin off season i,e during the lien period of winter , the authorised service Engineer ofcertified agencies shall attend the Air-conditioner units for major attentions and keep the equipment ready for use for the next summer . |
| 7 | (iv) The Authorised service Engineer ofcertified Agencies will carry out all breakdown maintenence after receving information(written or oral ) from GE (AF) Kalaikunda officials or their representatives . Theauthorised service representativewill carry out the required repairs of the unit and appraise GE , Engineer-in-charge and JE the status of the breakdown of repair at site . No payment shall be made on account of any breakdown service during comprehensive maintenance period . |
| 8 | (v)The service Engineer will be called in case of any breakdown and the same shall be attended within 24 hrs of lodging of complaint, failing which a penal recovery as specified in particular as specified in particular specification will be recovered from the outstanding dues to the contractor. |
| 9 | (vi) Cost of minor items like taflontape , metal washers, fibre/rubber washers, screws, small nuts& bolts,LPG gas for welding work,copper brazing stick,charging pipe etc shall be deemed to be inclusive of the quoted rate. |
| 10 | (vii) All other spares such as compressor , condenser, PCB , ODU fan motor , IDU motor , magnetic contact ,strainer , fan blade ,copper pipe , outdoor bracket , Insulation foam with wrapping tape , air filter , Gas charging etc shall be measured and paid separetely as a supply only under relevant item of this schedule. |
| 11 | (viii) The contractor shall maintain service reports for all visit & breakdown visits & copy of the same will be submitted to the Engineer-in-charge . |
