| 1 | Material & labour for Preparing of existing black top surfaces and on DBM surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with air pressure to remove allloose dirt etc.& after preparing applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 @ 3 to 3.5 kg/10 sqm on DBM/bituminous surfaces as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specifications for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer, complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 2 | Material & labour for providing and laying Dense bituminous macadam of compacted thickness in any range from 50mm to 75mm as per site requirement, using paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30 @ and binder content of 4.5 % by weight of total mix with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic sensor paver, rolle d and compacted to required gradient and camber with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per clause 505 MORTH (5th revision) specification and as directed.Note :- (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 4.5 % VG-30 bitumen content, Job mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORTH ( 5th revision) for BM shall be worked out from any Govt Lab/Govt Engg college/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the contractor and same shall be submit for approval of Accepting Officer through GE before execution. The cost thereof shall be deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ 50/kg of binder and NO adjustment shall be made on plus side.(ii) The BM shall be covered with top layer/wearing course within a maximum of 48 hours. If there is to be any delay by the contractor, course shall be covered by seal coat to the requirement of clause 512 of MORTH (5th revision) before opening to the traffic. The seal coat in such cases shall be considered incidental to the work and shall not be paid for separately.(iii) The contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorpoation of the same in the work.(iv) Paver shall not be compulsory in case of patch work using BM.(v)Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. For any variation in bitumen contents the re-testing to be got done by contractor at without any extra cost.(vi) Repair to pot holes shall be carried out as directed by Engineer-in-charge under this item and not measured separately, cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. |
| 3 | Material & labour for laying Premix bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with 5.4% paving bitumen binder of grade VG-30, content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2 with mixing of aggregates and VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type Hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hydrostatic sensor paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per clause 507 MORTH (5th revision) specification and as directed.Note :- (i) The contractor shall quote the rate against item considering 5.4% VG-30 bitumen content, Job mix formula as per clause No. 505.3.3 of MORTH ( 5th revision) for BC shall be worked out from any Govt Lab/Govt Engg college/CTL for obtaining optimum binder content (OBC) by the contractor and same shall be submit for approval of Accepting Officer through GE before execution. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/kg of binder and NO adjustment shall be made on plus side.(ii) Cost of filler i.e. cement (OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate.(iii) After spreading of mix as as per clause 507.4.7 MORTH (5th revision) entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight , followed by finished rolling 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per clause No 507.4.8 MORTH (5th revision) and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted rates.(iv) The contractor shall intimate the planned date of incorporation of mix in advance to GE. Premix will be approved in writing by Rep of Accepting Officer at plant site before incorpoation of the same in the work.(v)Payment shall be made after conducting bitumen extraction test after every laying every 500 units and cost is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. | 4 | Material and labour for preparing bituminous new surfaces of road and marking thermo plastic reflective paint 2mm thick as in centre lines, side lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like (in any colour as directed like white, golden, yellow, orange black etc.) on road surface to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5kg/Sqm and glass beads @ 250gm/Sqm conforming to MORTH clause No 803-4) complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 5 | Supply and fixing in repairs two way (dual direction) reflective road stud ABS body confirming to IRC 67-1977 having capacity 40 tonne (cat eye) of size 100mmx 100mm x 18.5 mm,with amber/red/yellow reflective panels and fixing on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the cat eye without applying exessive pressure and fixed with zinc plated steel nail of size 8mm dia 120mm long at the centre of cat eye complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- Make shall be approved by Accepting Officer before placement of order |
| 6 | Supply and fixing in repairs solar road stud having 3 LED of colour Red/Yellow to a side (total 6 Nos) housed in a tough pressure die casted aluminium alloy of size 125 x 125mm or 120 x 130mm with built in stem of suitable length, LEDs solar cells battery & light sensor well protected inside under tough unbreakable polycarbonate transparent sheet top system, workable for 2-3 days (night) after full charge in 8 to 10 Hrs and fixing the same on road surface by applying approximately 100 gm Epoxy mixture and placing the stud without applying exessive pressure and fixed with zinc plated steel nail of suitable size as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.Note :- Make shall be approved by Accepting Officer before placement of order |
| 7 | Supply and fixing in repairs metal tubular dealineator made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos 65 mm dia highly reflective reflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm dia mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly powder coated and thermo plastic elastomer 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strips with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedding in PCC 1:2:4 (150x150x300mm) type B1 complete as specified and as directed.Note :- Make shall be approved by GE before placement of order |
| 8 | Supply and fixing/laying factory made kerb stone of size as directed made of M-25 grade cement concrete laid in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar (1:3) (1 cement:3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5mm), including making drainage opening wherever required, including necessary excavation/earth work and making good disturbed surface complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 9 | Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surface/concrete surface / kerb stone surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth, by cleaning the dust and removing all loose particle with using clean cloths, brooms and dry paint brush etc and after preparing the surfaces applying two coats of luminous road marking paint of approved tint/colour (one colour or alternative colour i.e black/white/golden yellow etc as directed) including necessary priming coat as per manufacturers instruction complete as specified and as directed.Note :- Make shall be approved by GE before placement of order |
