| 6 | Material and labour for forlayingBituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness with paving bitumen (VG-30), binder content @ 5.5% by weight of total mix, includingfiller, as per design mix spread using mechanical senser paver rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 ton power roller and compacted required camber and gradient complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Notes : (i) Hot mix plant of adequate capacity shall be used for heating and mixing of aggregates and binder (bitumen) for bituminous carpet. Premixed carpet shall be laid in single layer with Mechanical Sensor Paver all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.(ii) The consolidated thickness indicated above shall be the minimum thickness and in case additional materials are required to make good the depressions etc to achieve the required camber & slope etc, the same shall be provided by the contractor and the cost of the same shall be deem to be included in the quoted rates of the above item. (iii) The design mix shall be carried out from zonal lab/Govt approved lav/Govt Engg College as approved by GE before incorporation in work and testing charges shall also be born by the contractor. |
