| 113 | Attending complaints of Air-conditioning ,desert coolers & water coolersas and when required / call up by this office for non-functioning or under-performing equipment such as Split AC, Window AC, Desert Coolers, Refrigerators, Deep Freezers, Water Coolers, etc. The work shall include:- 1. Diagnosis / detection of defects in complete system including compressor, condenser, evaporator, blower fan, motors, PCB cards, thermostats, overload relays, sensors, selector switches, contactors, wiring, drain piping, refrigerant leakages, air filters, etc.2.Carrying out minor repairs such as tightening of connections, rectification of minor electrical faults & checkingthe serviceability of electrical/electronic circuits relays, wiring kit, thermostat switches knobs, Remote control unit including PCB, fan, blower, adjustment of controls,oiling/greasing of motors, replacing worn-out bushes of blower, rectification of unusual noise, checking of refrigerant standing pressure, replacement of minor parts such as nut/bolt washers etc. making the installation functional.3. Major defective parts/components, if required to be replaced, shall be measured and paid separately under respective schedule item(i) Minor repairs shall be carried out on spot and are deemed included in this item.(ii) Replacement of defectivespares for making the AC units in satisfactory working conditionwill be measured & paidseparately under relevant items as S & F in replacement and Labour charges for taking out old spares .(iii) Adequate skilled tradesmen/technicians with supporting manpower shall be deployed by contractor. They shall remain present on all working days including Saturdays and holidays from 0930 hrs to 1800 hrs. Detailed complaint shall beissued by the concerned JE every morning duly signed after rectification.(iv) Complaints received before 1300 hrs shall be attended on same day. Complaints received after 1400 hrs shall be attended next working day before 1300 hrs.(v) Non-attendance of complaints as per schedule shall invite penalty of Rs. 500/- per complaint per day.(vi) Any delay in completion shall immediately be intimated to AGE/JE concerned. |
