M&L for covering of bore well mouth with PCC (1:2:4) type B-1/Brick masonry pit of size 45x45x45 cm complete and give the mimimum earth test result below 1 ohm complete all as specified.Note :- (i) The earth pit shall be refilled by boulders free from vegetable soil.(ii) Earthing shall be tested by contractor in presence of Engr-in-charge. Record shall be maintained.Payment shall be admissible only after satisfactory test results. (iii) GI pipe electrode and GI strip shall be measured & paid separately. |

| 31 | M&L for Checking/testing of Earth resistance value of earthing pits Installed inside Depot areaas requirement basis as directed by Engr in Charge or as schedule and making the damaged earthing serviceable by pouring salted water into earthing or making continuity by GI strips and bringing down the resistance value within specified limits, including maintenance of existing earthing by cleaning the earth chamber funnel and cleaning of vagetation surrouding earthing pit up to 2 mtr complete all as specified.Note: (i) The entire station will be divided intotwo zones as per earthing location and the contrcator will deploy seperate team for each zone to test the resistance value of earthings in each zone to complete the process within one month. (ii) One earthing testing in one season is measured one job. (iii) Digital Earth tester will be arrange by the contractor his own. (iv) Date of testing and due date of testing is to be written on a register with sign ofuser rep & Engr-in Charge submitted to GE. (iv) Testing and correction action is to be done within one month from date of commencement i.e. approx 300 earthings is to be completed within one month. Thereafter on half yearly basis or as directed by Engr-in charge and same is to be completed within one month.The contractor has to deploy electrician with helper and testing equipment and all the resources to complete the task within one month.(v) If any material required for improvement of resistence value which value is more than their permissible limit will be measured and paid seperately. |
