| 11 | Note for item No 1 & 1.01 to 1.09 :-(a) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include routine servicing, inspection, cleaning, lubrication, minor repairs and replacement/renewal of normal consumables required for satisfactory functioning of the cranes, including but not limited to internal wiring/termination within the control panel, detection and rectification of minor faults in control circuitry/PCB, current collector spring, cylindrical fuse links (9–63 A), end buffers, illuminated selector switches, contact type limit switches with plunger actuators (1NO + 1NC), male–female insulators, DLS busbar accessories such as 4-pole hanger (M-type) / 1-pole hanger (M-type), power feed end cap, joint PVC cover, four-bolt copper jointer with joint cover suitable for existing DLS system, modular illuminated push button actuators, and carbon brushes for clutch/micro-movement mechanism suitable for existing pendants including plastic front ring/holders for contact blocks, complete all as specified and directed. (b} Any spares/materials covered under Item Nos. 3.00 to 91.00, if required to be supplied/replaced, shall be measured and paid separately under the respective items of Schedule.(c) Each servicing shall be carried out to the satisfaction of the user representative and Engineer-in-Charge. A completion/service report in the prescribed format shall be submitted after each visit, duly signed by the user representative.(d) The contractor shall submit the monthly servicing completion report to this office in the format prescribed by the Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 12 | (e) The monthly servicing shall include, inter alia:(i) Cleaning/dust removal of crane and panel.(ii) Checking hoist (MH), cross travel (CT) and long travel (LT) gear oil level and topping up where required.(iii) Grease topping up for CT/LT mechanisms as required.(iv) Lubrication of bottom block sheaves and wire rope.(v) Checking and setting of MH/CT/LT brakes.(vi) Visual inspection of busbar for bending, damage, looseness or displacement.(vii) Ensuring proper mounting/engagement of current collector.(viii) Checking terminals for loose connections; tightening as required.(ix) Ensuring earthing continuity and that earthing points are not corroded/disconnected.(x) Checking for abnormal noise/vibration and rectification of minor causes.(xi) Checking limit switches for physical damage and proper operation; rectification/adjustment as required.(xii) Removal of foreign objects/obstructions on rails.(xiii) Checking hook rotation and free movement.(xiv) Checking pulleys for free rotation and alignment.(xv) Checking wire rope condition for dirt accumulation, bird-caging, excessive wear and other visible defects; taking necessary action as directed.(f)The contractor shall maintain (i) a monthly maintenance register and (ii) a complaint/breakdown register for each crane, and submit the same to the Engineer-in-Charge by the 3rd working day of each month, without fail. |

| 23 | Note for item No 2.00 to 2.09 :- (i) The contractor shall arrange, transport, handle and place the requisite standard test load/weights at the respective site(s) of testing, at his own risk and cost, complete.(ii) Load testing shall be carried out in the presence of the Factory Inspector/Competent Statutory Authority, and a separate load test certificate for each crane, on the approved/prescribed format as per applicable Factory Rules, duly signed by the said authority, shall be obtained and submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge. The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the entire cost of testing, statutory inspection/charges (if any), documentation and compliance, and no extra payment shall be admissible on this account.(iii) After completion of load test, the contractor shall display/record on each crane, in the manner and format approved by the Engineer-in-Charge, the crane capacity (SWL), date of testing and next due date of testing, and any other particulars as directed, complete.(iv) The contractor shall make all necessary arrangements for safe storage/stacking of the test load within the building/premises without obstructing operations and without causing damage to floors/structures/services. Any damage to floors/finishes/structures/services noticed during/after load testing shall be made good by the contractor forthwith, to match the existing specifications and finishes, at his own cost, and no extra payment shall be admissible. |

| 104 | Labour for attending emergency breakdown (during periods other than routine fortnightly/monthly/quarterly servicing/repair/maintenance, as applicable) by skilled service engineer/technician, and making the EOT/HOT crane functional within 03 (three) days of reporting of defect by the Engineer-in-Charge, including replacement/rectification of defective parts (as directed) for EOT/HOT cranes installed at Vajrakosh, NAD Complex (Site ‘E’), NSRY area and MO Complex (Site ‘A’), complete all as specified and as directed.Notes/Conditions:(i) M&L for periodical maintenance such as oiling/greasing etc. shall be carried out as per manufacturer’s recommendations and as directed.(ii) All spares to be replaced by the contractor shall be of specified make or as recommended by the manufacturer.(iii) All spares supplied/replaced shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this Schedule.(iv) Technician/Mechanic shall possess requisite qualification with minimum 02 years’ experience from recognised ITI/NCVT (or equivalent) in Electrical/Mechanical trade.(v) Servicing/repair of cranes shall be carried out by qualified tradesmen/technicians having minimum 05 years’ experience in repair/servicing of cranes.(vi) Contractor shall furnish service report on satisfactory completion of service/maintenance of all cranes, duly signed by respective unit in-charge after every visit, and submit the same to the Engineer-in-Charge for verification. |
