| 1 | Taking down carefully all the electrical connections from the existing serviceable 20 KVA DG set and AMF panel, and lifting the DG with connected AMF panel and fixing the same at the location directed by Engr-in-Chargecomplete all as specified and as directed. Note:1. The DG, along with the AMF Panel, shall be carefully lifted without causing any damage to the equipment. Any damage caused shall be repaired by the contractor at his own expense. 2. The necessary RCC base for fixing the DG set at the directed location shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 3. Testing commissioning of the DG to the extent of satisfaction of the Engr-in-charge is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. |
| 2 | Supply, commissioning, erecting, and testing complete of OEM-manufactured, static, silent (sound proof enclosure) Diesel Engine-driven Generating set of capacity 250 KVA, water cooled, 415 volts (AC three phase, 4 wire system of supply) 50 Hz at power factor 0.8 minimum.The DG set shall consists of diesel engine coupled to a matching alternator, through flexible coupling and mounted on common base frame and complete with control panel standardized by manufacturer, of adequate capacity for 8 hrs running fuel tank with mounting arrangements and inlet, outlet return inlet oil arrangements, exhaust pipe complete and suitable for conditions prevalent at Gwalior (capacity of engine, alternators shall worked out considering all derating factors) including foundation (of suitable size leaving at least 0.5m all around for ease of movement and 0.5m height) as per manufacturer recommendation, anti-vibration pads complete all as specified and directed, confirming to emision norms of latest CPCB 4 + guidelines and comprising of followings:- |

(ii) Air cleaner oil bath type(iii) Electronic Governor class 1 A with back up Mechanical governor class 1A Flywheel with starter ring (iv) Dry exhaust manifold with suitable exhaust residential grade silencer to reduce the noise level(v) Radiator cooling (vi)Radiator fan with guard (vii) Vaccum indicator (viii) Fuel filter and fuel houses (ix) Fuel injection pump (FIP)(x) Fan and water pump assesembly (xi) Lub oil filter and pump(xii) Electric starting system with battery charging alternator and axial type started motor including adequate number of high capacity maint free lead acid bty as per manufacturer recommendation including inter connecting cables/leads with terminals complete with starting/stopping switch voltmeter, etc01 set(xiii) Engine safety shut down system against lowoil pressure and high water pressure(xiv) Exhaust gas driven turbo charge(xv) Oil filter(xvi) Lub oil cooler(xvii) Engine maintenance manual with spare part list(xviii) Suitable designed acoustic enclosure as per CPCB regulations(xix) Any other item not included / specified but is a standard design of the manufacturer/required for commissioning/satisfactory operation of DG set. |
| 4 | Engine instrument panel : Engine instrument panel shall comprising of thefollowing:-(i) Starting on /off switch.(ii) water temp auge. (iii) Hour meter cum RPM indicator(iv) Lub oil pressure gauge (v) Lub oil temperature gauge (vi) Battery charging meter (vii) Safety alarm against high water temp and lub oil pressure. (viii) Any other item not included/specified but is a standard design of the manufacturer. |
| 5 | ALTERNATORshall be self excited, self regulated, brush less for 250 KVA continous operation at the speed of 1500RPM at 415 volts, 50Hz three phase, 4 wire system with advance electronic voltage regulator to ensure high voltage accuracy with +1% with class H insulation and SPDP enclosure directly coupled with engine through flexible couping and conforming to IS-4722 complete-01 No. Note:- Alternator should be able to deliver output rating at actual site condition.Common fabricated base frame for engine and alternator made from structural channel, jerk proof PCC 1:2:4 mix type B1 foundation including adequate number of suitable anti-vibration pads all as per manufacture recommendations is deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the contractor.Bottom mounted (or as per manufactures design) steel fuel tank fabricated out of 14 SWG MS sheet of capactiy not less than 12 hrs continous operation inside canopy withfuel level guage, drain plug locking arrangements etc with and including GI pipe connections duly laid as per engineering practice complete all as specifided and directed.(i) Hour run meter. (ii) Any other item not included/ specified but is a standard design to the manufacturer. |
| 6 | AMF Panel:-A seperate AMF panelOutdoor type,Doubledoor , cubical type front operated, totally enclosed, dust and vermin proof, floor mounted with suitable PCC base foundation ,made out of CRCA sheet 3.15 mm thick , powder coated with all control wiring, from front oprated panel shall have provision for termination of UG cable for incomming / outgoing and necessary gland plates including cable termination with cable glands shall be provided at bottom of the panel suitable for DG set 250 KVA,415V, 3 phase 50 Hz 4 wire system includingAuto main supply failure monitor (AMF) control relays, voltage & current sensors, supply failure timer, restoration timer control unit incorporating automatic engine start/stop/Auto/manual/test, indicators for load/mains status with announciator, Push button for engine start/stop, 320 Amps 4 Pole Power contactors with OLR relay - 02 NosandMCCB 4 Poles 320 Amps 36 KA rating with ics=100%icu with adjustable thermal over load and magnetic short circuit releases - 2 Nos, with in build seperate chamber for On load change over switch with the the same having capacity of 320 Amps - 02 Nos ( for Main & DG by pass system), Copper busbar having600A rating for phase &Neutral which is duly insulated with proper colour coding , One battery charger in built for charging batteries with 24V 20A SCR Controlled Battery Charger , selector switch and DC voltmeter & Ammeter all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge. |

Plate (size 300x300x3mm th) duly welded with angle iron of size 40X40x5mm, 60cm long, fixed with the earth pit chamber by grouting complete all as specified and directed.Note :- (i) GI strip and GI pipe medium grade, up to 7.5mtr shall be deemed to be included in the rates quoted for earthing. (ii) Excavation and earth work in any type of soil strata shall be deemed to be included in rates quoted for earthing. (iii) The rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to be included for MS sheet of size 300x300x3mm th, fixed with necessary nuts and boltson angle iron of size 40X40x5mm, 60cm long and grouted with PCC block of size 200x200x250mm(PCC 1:3:6 using 20mm grade stone aggregate including necessary earth work for marking the result and purpose. |
