M&L Removing the existing damaged filled sealing compound including polyethylene rod in Construction/Dummy joints by raking end using mechanical mode of operation and cleaning of Construction/Dummy jointsof concrete pavement free from dust applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat and fine finish of the sealant, provision of polyethylene backup rod 8 to 10 mm dia in construction/dummy joint and sealed with COLPOR 200 polyurethane based sealing compound confirming to BS 5212 1990 o & BS -4254 and EN-141875-2003 or equivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete for construction / dummy joint 6mm to 8mm wide all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Removing the existing damaged filled sealing compound including polyethylene rod in expansion joints by raking end using mechanical mode of operation and cleaning of expansion joints of concrete pavement free from dust applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces to give a neat finish to the sealant, provision of polyethylene backup rod30mm to 45mm dia in expansion joint and sealed with COLPOR 200 polyurethane based sealing compound confirming to BS 5212 1990 o & BS -4254 and EN-141875-2003 orequivalent of approved colour after application of suitable primer and removing the masking tape after the sealant filling etc complete for expansion joint 25mm to 40mm wide all as specified and as per manufacturers instructions all as specified and as directed.

M&L providing and filling cracks/ Joints upto 30mm deep and 6mm to 25mm width in flexible pavement/ rigid pavements, using hot-applied bitumen based sealing compound after applying masking tape on edges of joints/ cracks to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealent, including cleaning of cracks by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc andremoving loose dirt, debris etc. using air blower and fill the voids of cracks/ joints fully upto thepavement surface andremoving old damaged sealant from joints complete all as per manufacuter\"s insrtructions and all as specified and as directed.

Notes for all items :-(a) All the works are to be carried outin Air force airfield operational area. Tenderer shall note that work shall be executed at Runway/Air field area and the site for execution of work will be made available to contractor on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and non operational days or when site will made available by GE/Engineer-in-charge after consultation of user, due to constant operational commitment at Station. The contractor will have to arrange his working programme accordinly. No claim whatsover, for not giving the entire site, on award of work and giving the site gradually will be entertained. The contractor shall consider this aspect while quoting his rates.(b) The contractor should ensure that all the old unwanted articles be cleaned as the work proceeds without awaiting for instructions from the users and MES reps and the FOD spreaded over the main runway to be cleaned simultaneously and clearance in this regard shall be obtained from respective ATC authorities.(c) In emergency and operational requirements, the contractor shall provide maximum man power, tools and plants as necessistated by the user and as directed by the Engr In Charge.
