| 5 | Dismantling, Fabrication and Erection of structurals:Scope of work includes cutting, fabrication, welding and painting of all types of supports, columns, beams, ladders, platforms & walkways etc. required for Converter in SO2 Acid Plant FACT-UC as per scope of work detailed in Special Conditions of contract and tender drawings attached.Loading / unloading and transportation of free issue materials from any of the FACT stores or from any site of FACT to work site shall be under the scope of contractor.Scrap cutting & removal to Material Conservation Yard shall be under the scope of the contractor.All heavy equipment required for this work shall be under the scope of contractor. |
| 6 | Removal and fixing back of tray beams of first, second and third beds of SO2 Converter.All tray beams of first and second beds shall be removed before dismantling of the converter and shall be refixed after the erection of new beds of converter.Material - Cast IronLoading / unloading and transportation of free issue materials from any of the FACT stores or from any site of FACT to work site shall be under the scope of contractor.All heavy equipment required for this work shall be under the scope of contractor. |
| 7 | Removal and fixing back of tray plates/grids of first, second and third beds of SO2 Converter.All tray plates/grids of first and second beds shall be removed before dismantling of the converter and shall be refixed with proper caulking after the erection of new beds of converter.Material - Cast IronLoading / unloading and transportation of free issue materials from any of the FACT stores or from any site of FACT to work site shall be under the scope of contractor.All heavy equipment required for this work shall be under the scope of contractor. |
| 8 | Painting (External surfaces of Shell):The following painting scheme shall be followed for painting the external surfaces of SO2 Converter Shell:• Primer - Two coats of Red Lead primer(The specified primer and necessary accessories & consumables required for painting including scaffolding shall be under the scope of the contractor) |
