| 1 | Disconnection of inlet, outlet, and back wash connections etcfrom existing iron removal filter plant of water treatment plant (Multi garde), Pressure Feed Type with FRP vesels (Comprising of 01 (One) No. Oxidation plant of overall size 1230mm dia. & 1700mm Height and 01 (ONe) No. Iron removal filter of overall size 2600mm dia & 2800mm height) of 15000 GPH capacity,opening carefully the manhole/handhole covers, taking out old filteration media from inside the vessels and deposited at a distance n. exceeding 50 Meters,including cleaning the vessels internally by descaling washing down with water, including cleaning the external surfaces of vessels alongwith frontal pipings and inter connection pipings, through cleaning of external surfaces of vessels and writing letters or figures (Block, Roman, Italic or Indian) n exc. 30 cm high and drawing stops, commas, short lines, dashes, hyphens, brackets etc. with synthetic enamel paint (SM/MES No., Capacity, Location, date etc.), including recharging of Filteration Media,refixing of PVC strainer etc as per OEM specifications and including reconnection of pipelines, refixing of manhole/handhole covers, testing and commissioning of Iron Removal filter Plant at pump house No. 01 & 04 complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note:- (i) Filteration media required sizes i.e., Gravels Size 1 1/2\" X 1\", Gravels Sizes of 1.5\" to 2\", 1/2\" to 1\", 1/4\" to 1/2\", 1/8\" to 1/4\" PVC stainer (New) each required, Coarse Silex, Fine Silex, Filtering Sand , granular activated carbon media, Manganese dioxide for recharging inside the vessles will be measured and paid separately under respective items of this Schedule as supply only. (ii) Testing of water sample (i.e, turbidity test, Ph test, iron (Fe) test, fluoride test, arsenic test, nitrite test, calcium test, Calcium carbonate test, cloride test, resitual clorine test,Magnesium Carbonate test, Alkanity test, TDS test, COD test, total coliform test, Sulfate test & BOD test)from the Iron Removal filter Plant after rechrging of filter media shall be carried out from any NABL accredted lab/PHE test lab in West Bengal and test report shall be submitted. The cost of testing of water sample shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (iii) The cost of replacement of minor unserviceable parts viz unserviceable PP stainers inside the Iron Removable filter vessel and nuts, bolt, washers & Gasket in the manhole/handhole covers of vessels are deemed to be included in the quoted rate (iv) Serviceable filteration media shall be staked properly andre-used in the work after removal of foreign matters, cleaning & washing , screening & grading of old gravels (Filteration media) of various sizes. The old unserviceable filteration media shall be removed from the site of work without any extra cost to the Govt. (v) New filteration media shall be stacked properly before incorporation in the work for measurement and also submit the purchase voucher for the same having GST number shall be submitted before payment claim. (vi) This item shall be executed after retain written approval from GE.(vii) The cost of painting with one coat of black bituminous paint suitable for drinking water including preaparation of surface inside the vessels of water treatment plant shall be inclusive in this item. (viii) The cost of painting of two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surface of outside surface of water treatment filter plant including pipe lines, marking of pipe lines (incoming and outgoing) etc.after scrapping of old damaged paint and also writing the plant name and capaicty with white paint on the filter plant complete shall be inclusive in this item. |

(ii) Entire T&P should be arranged by the Contractor at their own cost. Only electric power & water shall be supplied by MES at the stipulated rate.(iii) \"Date of cleaning\" should be written over the outer surface of tank by synthetic enamel paint with lettering not less than 100mm height. Cost of the same is deemed to be inclusive in the quoted unit rate of cleaning of tank. |
