Note- (i) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC, test point, GI wire 4 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 m.(ii)PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, Elbows etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.(iii) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, 80 mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4kg/Sqm in lieu of cast iron cover.(iv) On testing after completion of earthing if the desired earth resistance is not obtained earthing will be re-done by the contractor at his own risk & cost to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. |

| 19 | M&L for tracing out fault in LT under ground cable of any size with help of tracing machine and rectifying the same with joints to restore the power supply, complete all as specified and directed.Notes :-(i) Necessary earth work and cable joint kit shall included in quoted rates.(ii) All other necessary arrangements suitable for locating the faults is deemed to be included in quoted rates.(iii) T&P required for the entire job shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this acount. |
