| 11 | M & L for cleaning of overhead reservoir internal portion from base to top including scraping of mud silt from base and walls, washing complete internal surfaces by using bleaching powder, antibacterial sodium hypochlorite solution ,removing the silt/mud water out side the tank and de-silting from connecting pipes and applying internally one coat of lime wash to RCC walls ,base of tanks of 100000 gallons upto 25 mtrs staging complete & writing details of cleaning in prescribed format complete all as specified and as directed.Therefore Following procedure shall be followed during cleaning of OHT.(a)Cleaning of water tanks with high pressure water jet with pressure not exeeding 28Kg/Sqcm and remove all masses algae and dirt. (b)Removal of dirty water alongwith sludge using sludge machines and disposal of the same to a safe distance. (c)Scrubbing of floors using industrial vacuum cleaner. (d)Applying of anti bacterial sterilization to walls floors and roofs of tanks.(e)Tank capacity and date of cleaning shall be marked on tanks neatly with oil paint all as directed.
