| 15 | Rectification works in Engine room & other areas of FACT Pearl of Periyar barge:Scope of work includes:# Replacing rpm, lube oil & temperature sensors of the main engines/auxiliary engine/gear box. Sensors procured shall be from the OEM.# Replacing old/damaged hoses of intercooler, coolant pump, exhaust lines, diesel fuel lines etc.. in main engines & auxiliary engine. Hoses procured shall be from the OEM.# Providing concrete cofferdam at gland packing side of propeller shaft bush bearings (Port & Starboard side).# Rectification of leak in radiator heater in starboard side main engine.# Replacing damaged doors at Masters Cabin & Electrical Cabin with WPC/FRP doors.# Supply & fixing of 5 nos. of FRP/PP fire hose boxes.Spares required for the works mentioned above are under the scope of contractor.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. |
| 16 | Providing eye wash at aft side of the barge:Scope of work includes:# Providing eye wash at aft side of the barge at the location recommended by FACT-CD safety department.# Eyewash unit will be provided by FACT-CD to the# Necessary plumbing, welding & electrical works required for the fitment of eye wash is in scope of contractor. Also, eye wash system shall be pressurized at 0.5 kg/cm2 by using suitable pump by using suitable pump.# All the necessary spares including the pump required for the job shall be in scope of contractorEntire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract,general conditions of the contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge |

| 18 | Stability Re-calculation of Pearl of Periyar:Stability re-calculation of Pearl of Periyar barge as per the latest IV Act, 2021.Stability re-calculation of the Pearl of Periyar shall be carried out by a qualified Naval Architect approved by KIV and tools/equipments required for the stability-recalculation shall be in scope of contractor.Re-calculated Stability Report prepared by the contractor shall be approved by KIV and same shall be submitted to FEW.Entire works shall be done as per special conditions of contract, general conditions of contract and as per instructions of engineer-in-charge. |
