Providing and fixing expanded metal with diagonal of rhombus 20x60 (with weight not less than 3.50 kg per sqm), welded by electric welding to mild steel flats 18mmx3mm & fixed with screws to M.S.angle 30x30x4mm (weight not less than 1.75kg per metre).(Actual weight to be measured) with 15x3mm lugs 10cm long fixed with carbon steel galvanised ( minimum coating 5 micron) dash fastener of 10 mm dia and 80mm long double threaded 6.8 grade (yield strength 480 N/mm2), counter sunk head, comprising of 10 mm dia polyamide PA 6 grade sleeve, including drilling of hole in frame , concrete/ masonry, etc. as required as per drawing including applying a priming coat of approved steel zinc chromate primer as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing side hung double leaf hard drawn steel wire fabric (HDSWF) MS Shutters provided with 40x40x6mm MS angle iron frame,middle horizontal members of flat 65x6mm & 32x6mm size making tee and braced with MS flat diagonals of 38x5mm, joints mitred and welded properly. The hard drawn steel wire fabric of mesh 75x25 mm with weight not less than 7.75 kg per sqm to be provided and fixed with MS beading of 18x3mm size and welded with the frame angle all round. Two MS pivots of suitable size are to be fixed at the bottom and two MS hinges of suitable size to be fixed at both sides.(Actual weight to be measured)The pivots to be embedded in floor with cement concrete blocks 15x15x15 cm and hinges to be embedded in walls with cement concrete blocks 23x23x23 cm of 1:2:4 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size). Proper locking arrangement on both sides with MS sliding door bolts of size 300x16 mm and handles of suitable size are also to be provided alongwith other neccessary fittings as required and priming coat of approved steel primer on all angle frame and HDSWF complete as per approved drawing and direction of Engineer-in-charge.
