| 14 | Providing and fixing powder-coated weld mesh panels for fencing, conforming to EN 10223-7 and IS 280, fabricated from galvanized MS wire of 4.0 mm dia (+0.05 mm), tensile strength 450–550 N/mm². Mesh size 76.2 mm (W) × 12.7 mm (H) with tolerance ±2 mm, welded at every intersection with shear strength ≥50% of wire tensile strength. Panels of size 2400 mm × 1800 mm, or as per site conditions, with two V‑bends of 25–30 mm depth, having a unit weight not less than 9.60 kg per sqm ±5%, shall be provided and fixed complete as per direction of the Engineer‑in‑Charge. In case the weight is on the lower side, i.e. up to –5% (9.12 kg per sqm), the item shall be accepted with deduction for the difference in weight per square metre, whereas if the weight is on the higher side, i.e. above 9.60 kg per sqm, the item shall be accepted but no additional payment shall be made for the extra weight.Galvanizing with zinc coating ≥12 microns (40–50 GSM) as per IS 4826, uniformity as per IS 2633. Panels electrostatically powder-coated in RAL 6005 (moss green), thickness 100–140 microns, C4 corrosion protection as per EN 10245-1, salt spray resistance ≥500 hours. Installation with galvanized/tamper-proof fasteners, alignment tolerance ±5 mm vertical, ±10 mm line. Complete in all respects, including fixtures, fittings, and QA certificates, as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. |
