| 1 | M&L for Locating fault of LT underground cables 2/3.5/4 core of size 16-300 Sqmm laid in trenches using fault locator machine/manually and repairing the same by making LT joint ferrule etc. including necessary excavation & earth work upto 10 metre length, taking out the protection cover, sand and faulty cable and relaying the cable after necessary repair including refilling of sand and relaying of protection cover and RFR complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES : (a) The quoted rate includes cost of arranging, shifting of fault locator machine including operator fee, T&P required, any number of times as and when required during the currency of contract. (b) The contractor will have to arrange the fault locating machine. In case contractor fails to diagnose/locate the fault within 04 Hrs of fault intimation, a penalty of Rs. 50/hour will be imposed/ levied.(c) LT joint will be measured and paid separately.(d) The quantity catered will be executed different times during currency of work whenever fault occurs. |

Note:-(i)Each E/M Sub Station/Installation cleaning will be carried out once in a month and the same will be measured as one job during the period of contract i.e. six months.(ii) The rate for labour/herbicidesto beincluded in the quoted rate.
