| 112 | GENERAL NOTES FOR ALL ITEMS:(1) All works for repair of ACs and other connected refrigeration equipment shall be carried out by experienced and qualified refrigeration mechanics. The contractor shall submit necessary documents regarding qualification and experience to the Engineer-in-Charge before commencement of works.(2) Defective spares required to restore ACs, Refrigerators, Water Coolers, and Deep Freezers to satisfactory working condition shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items.(3) Major spares have been considered in the BOQ. The quoted rate is deemed to include consumables, minor spares, nuts, bolts, etc., and no extra claim shall be admissible during execution of work.(4) Make of spares and accessories shall be as per OEM or as approved in writing by the GE.(5) All complaints must be attended to on the same day. If a complaint remains unattended the next working day, a penalty of Rs 100 per day shall be levied on the contractor.(6) Faulty items replaced must be produced to the concerned JE before taking them on credit. If not produced, a recovery of 2% shall be charged against the quoted rates.(7) After completion of each complaint, a copy of the user/occupant’s signature shall be obtained and deposited with the concerned JE. |
