| 4 | Wet fluorescent magnetic particle test of welds using AC Yoke – magnaflux / tiede / Y6 black light and white washable distemper as background and as per applicable codes (Refer ASTM-E-709/ASME Sec. V) . Internal 100% (all weld joints from inside), nozzle welds (internal & external). |
| 5 | To conduct 25% ultra flaw detection (width of scanning 50 mm) of welds from inside the bullet as per ASTM-A- 577 & as applicable codes including T-joints. (Refer ASME.Sec.V, Article 4 except that for thickness 2\" or less, calibration blocks described in Fig. T-434.2.1 shall be used) Not less than 25% of weld seams including all T. joints middle circumferential seams, Bottom & Crown weld seams |
| 6 | To conduct Dye penetration test at all accessible areas and as per ASTM-E165/IS:3658 or applicable codes using krautrammer Microdour or Equotip type (Poldi type not to be used) portable tester. |
| 7 | To conduct the Hardness testing on selected spots on welds, HAZ and parent metals in each accessible area (Refer ASTM-E-110). Hardness to be measured at random on circumferential/ longitudinal welds, nozzle welds and any leftover cleat weld areas |
| 8 | To witness Hydraulic testing as per SMPV rules and issuance of test certificate as per the applicable code. |
| 9 | To Check the Healthiness of Cathodic Protection system |
| 10 | To check operational fitness of ROV\"s and Flow measurement of Excess Flow Check valves |
| 11 | Certificate & documentation: To submit 5 sets of testing & inspection certificates/ test reports & documents for all tests and inspections covered in the scope of work as per SMPV rule no.19 & revelant factories act as applicable. |
