Rope packing shall be removed and replaced wherever leakage, wear, or deterioration is observed, ensuring proper sealing and tightening of the gland. Bolts and nuts shall be checked for corrosion or damage and shall be replaced only where found unserviceable, using equivalent or superior grade hardware. |
