| 32 | Labour rate only for distempering with oil bound washable distemper / dry distemper synthetic enamel paint on old / new work to give an even shade (one or more coats) all heights and depths including scaffolding surface preparation through brushing and scrapping all loose practicals, scales, etc. It shall then be sand papered to give a smooth and even surface.Any uneven surface / holes shall be made good by applying putty, made ofPLASTER OF PARIS mixed with colour to be used. Surface then again rubbedwith fine sand paper & made smooth. A coat of distemper shall be applied over patches. Applications of specified number of coats two or more (as per requirement) complete at Factory & T/ship area, as per specification instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. (Sand paper/ scrapper/ brush etc. for surface preparation and distempering shall be arranged by the contractor). |

| 34 | Painting with bitumen of approved quality of grade 85/25 @ 1.7 kg. per sq.m. on RCC / plaster finished surface including cleaning the surface with brushes and finally with a piece of cloth lightly soaked in kerosene oil complete at Factory & T/ship area, at all heights & depths. |
| 35 | Melamine polishing on wood work (one or more coat) at Factory & T/ship area. |
| 36 | Providing & applying wall care white cement based putty of JK / Birla Plus /approved brand and manufacturer over plastered surface on walls and ceiling to prepare the surface even and smooth finish at Factory & T/ship area, as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. |
| 37 | Attending various types of finishing jobs of measurement not less than 2.00 sq.m. for minute/ intricate nature of works, which are otherwise not easily susceptible to measurement and is time consuming. The job pertains to white washing/ painting/ distempering/ cement painting / spirit polishing etc. at different locations, in small quantum but for urgent assignment requiring skilled & unskilled labour to accomplish the job, all as per the site requirements and instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. Material required for this job shall be supplied free of cost by NFL. |
