| 5 | Cont…..(C)The quoted rate shall deemed to include the cost of minor civil works, MS Beam, MS rail with fixing arrangement including making good to the disturbed surface to match with the existing and if required scaffolding in lift shaft / lift well shall also included quoted rate.(D) The lifts shall comprise of alllatest fail safe measures as specified in relevant IS Codes IS- 15785, IS-14665 of 2015: Part —I, IS-14665 of 2009: Part —V, IS-4591 of 2012, IS-15785 of 2007) and National Building Code – 2016 Section-5 part-8as revised from time to time.(E) The wiring of lift shall be with copper conductor, stranded, ISI marked of suitable size. The wiring in the lift well shall be in MS conduit, ISI marked medium grade of suitable size. Suitable sockets/lights shall be provided as directed in the lift shaft. (F) If anything missed above but is technically required for efficient working of the lift is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.(G)Instruction shall be provided by the manufacturer inside and outside the car. The instructions shall be written on a metallic sheet with embossed letters matching with car decor/outside decor all as directed. (H) A board depicting manual rescue procedure to be provided at location as directed.(I)The comprehensive maintenance of lift shall be executed through OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agencies. (J) The contractor shall submit MOU with the reputed OEMs for installations of lifts within 15 days of issue of W.O for commencement of work.(K) The contractor shall submit the MOU with the OEMs or their accredited/ authorized agenciesfor 04 yearscomprehensive maintenance ofPhase-II atleast six months prior to completion of Phase-I.(L) The quoted rate is deemed to include the above provisions as specified above. |

A proper visit required to be maintenance duly counter signed by supervisory staff with their remarks in monthly maintenance record in respective lift.(v)Quarterly maintenance:- Each lift is required to be provided maintenance every quarter by OEMs and counter signature by Engg-in-charge for quarterly maintenance schedule as mentioned in Appendix-A of PS.(vi) Annual maintenance Schedule:-Certain specified maintenance is required to be performed on each lift to ensure longevity and useful life working of lift details of maintenance required to be done and person responsible is providedin Appendix-A of PS. An Annual safety Audit got to be carried out by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). |

In case the lifts of makes for which OEM/ authorised agency do not exist, theses lift shall be repair through reputed OEMs registered MES contractors or other contractors listed in appropriate category of CPWD/ Railways/ Other Government Agencies as approved by GE(x)The OEM shall arrange one time training to all lift operators after start of work.(xi) The OEM shall conduct one safety audit during the currency of the contract for each lift and submit reports to the AGE. (xii) For any break of terms and condition of the MOU by the contractor the OEM shall inform to the AGE.(xiii)The replacement cost ofmajor components such as control panel, VVVF Driver, ARD, Car door, car operating system and batteries as specified here-in-after will also be deemed included in said AMC and no extra payment shall be given on this account.(xiv) Force majeure:-Any breakdown in lift caused due to natural calamities, i.e flood, earthquake, fire in building other than fire in lifts etc.shall be outside scope of routine/periodical maintenance. |

(xxi) Contractor shallprovide suitable type T & P, two set of uniforms to every technician, one No first aid box, cotton waste, wipping cloths to each installation under contract schedule, required log sheets of lift of all installations and sweeping instruments and the cost thereof deemed to be included in above quoted rate. (xxii) Make and model of part to be replaced shall be same as existing at site or as per OEM recommendation.(a) All spare parts and parts recommended by the OEM required Comprehensive maintenance of lifts to be replaced during Contract period at no extra payment. (b) The rate shall also include routine maintenance of ARD & maintaining ARD in serviceable condition including testing complete all as directed. (c) Complete repair of following major assemblies shall deemed to have been included in rate quoted in the maintenance (i)Traction Machine (ii)Travelling cables.(iii)ARD(iv)Car and landing doors (v)Gear Assembly. |

Following rates of minimum wages, statutory provision and contractor profit & overhead charges shall be deemed to be considered quoted rate-(i) Minimum wages:- As per as latest notification issued by Government of India/State Government/ Local body whichever is higher as onbid submission end date.(ii) ESI(Insurance cover)@ 3.25 %on minimum wage of ser no (i). In case monthly(26 days)minimum wage are exceeding Rupees twenty one thousand (` 21,000/-),ESI shall be exempted.(iii) Employees provident fund @ 12.00 %on minimum wage of ser no (i).In case monthly(26 days)minimum wage are exceeding Rupees fifteen thousand (₹15,000/-).EPF shall be calculated upto Rupees fifteen thousand (₹ 15,000/-) only.(iv) Labour cess @ 1% on total amount of ser no (i) to (iv).(vi) GST@ 18% on total amount of ser no (i) to (v).(vii) The bidder shall have to be consider their profit & overhead chargeon above provision. Attention of bidder is invited to periodical variation in minimum wages as notified by Govt of India/State Govt (Whichever is more) from time to time, the rates therefore quoted by bidder shall deemed to be inclusive of any such variation during currency of contract and the contractor shall pay the wages as per prevailing wages rates during the execution of contract. However, increased wages including all other benefits in compliance of statutory provisions such as EPF, ESI & Bonus etc shall be paid to the workers by the contractor after bid submission end date as well as during currency of contracts. No claim whatsoever will be entertained on this account . |
| 57 | Cont......(c) DUTY TIME :- A normal working time of 08 hour shift as mentioned in PS. However, GE/Engg-in-Charge at his discretion may change the shift timings as per requirements and 1 shift or 2 shift installation may be late-night hours. The shift of 08 hours shallbe continuous. The quoted rate shall be deemed to take into account such situations.(d)Operator will take all preventive measures as per code of practise of EI Rules as well as they should be insured for accident as per labour laws. The Department will not be responsible for any type of incident.(e) All the safety equipments and tools related to workmanship shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost. Contractor shall be provide T & P such as (Pipe wrench, pliers, line tester, test lamp, clamp meter) two set of uniforms to every operator, one No first aid box, cotton waste, wipping cloths to each installation under contract schedule, required log sheets of pumping sets and DG sets of all installations and sweeping instruments and the cost thereof deemed to be included in above quoted rate.(f) Lift operator Mate shall beSemi Skilled.(g) The term & condition as specified in Sch \"A\" Note & PS of tender document. Accordingly bidder should quote their offer.(h) Unit rate shall be quoted for one Lift operator mate per 08 hour service per Day for one calendar month.(j)The operator should have own conveyance and communication system like mobile etc.(k) Amount of bonus is payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount of bonus to the workmen, i.e proof of account payment. Similarly items/sub-items of ‘contribution towards EPF’ and ‘contribution towards ESIC’ shall also be payable after submission of valid & authentic document in support of proof of payment. |
