| 2 | Material and labour for preparing old black top surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with using air blower to remove all loose dirt etc complete and applying evenly a coat of cold Polymer Modified emulsion (PME) by using mechanical sprayer, spraying of total cold liquid PME 0.5 Litre per sqm (undiluted) for one coat with mineral filler as recommended by manufacture of PME(after diluting with water), each coat diluted with in the ratio (PVE.Water) and ensure uniform finish on applied area complete all as per manufacturer instructions and all as specified and directed.Notes:- The tender shall take into consideration the following points while coating the rates for this item:(a) The work shall be carried out by the manufacturer or his authorised applicator only.(b) Care shall be taken to fill wider gaps/cracks with 0.60 mm to 2.36 mm size coarse sand as per manufacturer’s instructions.(c) A Performance guarantee certificate for two years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of the work as specified.(d) Contractor should take all precaution to cover and protect the Airfield lights falling in the area of work and make good the same in case of damage.(e) Care shall be taken to protect the existing painted lines/marking in the airfield to avoid splashes/spillages of Emulsion during application. |
| 3 | M&L for painting lines, dashes arrows, letters etc. on mads, pavements and the like not exceeding 10cm width or girth with one coat of water based road marking paint Grade-2, conforming to IS-164- 1981 (tint white/yellow/golden yellow as approved) complete all as specified and directed. |
| 4 | Demolition of cement concrete (reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 5 | Excavation in trenches in any type of soil not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m wide for foundation etc or for shaft, wells, cesspits, manhole, pair house etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m depth and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed. |
