The weekly maint shall be carried out as under:(i) Cleaning of DG set floor and area (ii) Checking levels of Fuel/Engine Oil/Coolant and top-up the level if required (iii) Checking of Batteries, flexible coupling, injectors, thermostats, monitoring functions, compression, turbo charger clearance of bearings, air and water hoses, Zinc protective pipes, coupling disc of fuel pump drive, \"V\" Belts (iv) Checking tightening of all nuts and bolts. (v) Checking levels of distilled water in batteries and top-up the level if required. (vi) Checking levels of distilled water in batteries and top-up the level if required. (vii) Cleaning of air filters (viii) Lubricating/Greasing to moving parts (ix) Checking and reset valve clearances. (x) Checking and setting of speed Governor and engine shut down for proper functioning (xi) Checking of carbon bushes of generator and lubricate the bearings (xii) Cleaning of Crankcase ventilation, cooling water spaces, inter cooler (xiii) Checking of replacing carbon bushes and starter pinion (xiv) Checking and monitoring of DG set running in condition by switching on mannual position on without load not less than 15 minute in week for each DG set and maintaining their running record in Log sheet/PRRB. If any shortcomings found in any DG set, immediately rerport to JE concern as well as to the contractor. Schedule of running for each DG set shall be decided by the Engr-in-Charge. Weekly Preventive maintenance and servicing of 13 Nos DG Sets shall be measured as a one Job. Note : -(a) Spare parts shall be measured and paid separately. (b) Oil, Coolant and distril water will be measured and paid saparately. (c) Complaint pertains to DG Set of the sch A as given by Engr-in-Charge at any time shall be attend within 12 Hour from the time of complaint assined to the representative of the firm as directed by Engr-in-Charge up to the satisfactory level and on failing which the penalty shall be imposed 2500 per day per item / complaint of schedule \"A\". |
