| 1 | Supply, installationtesting and commissioning of silent type Diesel Engine driven generating set with Governing Class G2 including sound reducing canopy (sound level not more than 75db at a distance of 1 mtr) 14 guage as per guidelines issued by Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 50 Hz supply complete, control panel suitable for giving an output of 20 KVA after considering de-rating factor at 1600 metre altitude above MSL (Mean Sea Level) and capable of operating between temperature range -20 degree centigrade to +40 degree centigrade (at Srinagar area of J&K) and alternator of suitable capacity and RPM coupled with each other with flexible coupling mounted on anti-vibration pads on foundation as recommended by manufacturer. The DG Set shall comprise of self starter with batteries, turbocharger, water cooler and comprising all standard fittings, fixtures & all piping etc. as below :- |
| 2 | (A)ALTERNATOR :- Directly coupled with engine and suitable to produce 415 Volts, 3 Phase, 4 wire system, 50 Hz, 0.8 PF @ 1500 RPM of capacity 20 KVA all as per IS:13364 and upto date amendments with \"H\" Class insulation, self excited, self regulated, screen protected drip proof type with two end shield ball / roller bearing with damper winding in each pole, complete all as specified and directed.(B)ENGINE :- Water cooled Diesel Engine (CPCB Norms IV compliance) developing 980 HP or as recommended by the manufacturer for 1600 mtr altitude above MSL having self start engine (including batteries with provn of charging the batteries and leads) suitable to drive above specified alternator complete with foundation (foundation design as per OEM) as per IS:10001/10002, coupled directly through flexible coupling, multi cylinder four stroke, cold starting, 1500 RPM industrial type as per BS-649 or IS-1601 with AI electronic governor suitable to regulate speed of DG set from no load to full load complete with fuel tank of capacity as per manufacturer\"s recommendation, fuel lines, exhaust pipe duly insulated with asbestos rope and with support and silencer muffiers etc. for continuous operation and standard accessories, sump pre heaters, cold start kit etc. |
| 3 | (c)CANOPY :- Canopy enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated after passing through seven tank process 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet and lockable doors should be provided in canopy with lockable fuel filling arrangement. The exhaust system and noise suppressor shall be provided with thermal insulation by using fire retardant/ non igniting form conforming to BIS 7886/BS 4375 to prevent excess heat radiation on the engine and safe for operation.Absorption type non-resistance Residential Silencer shall be provided to suppress exhaust noise from the engine.(d)Alignment and Fuel Tank :- Alternator and Engine aligned on a common 14 SWG RCA MS base frame complete with MS Fuel Tank, fabricated out of 16 SWG CRCA MS Sheet and is part of base frame.(e)PCC platform as per manufacturer\"s design.(f)Engine and alternator shall be assembled on common steel frame by the manufacturer itself and not by rep/ authorised agent/ sister concern etc. |
| 4 | (g)Engine shall be designed keeping in consideration of de-rating factor for 1600 meters altitude above MSL.(h)Installation, testing and commissioning of Gen Set shall be done in presence of manufacturer\"s Engineers and not by any authorised person.(j)DG Set to be tested for 12 Hours continuously as following. All testing materials and fuel to be provided by the contractor. No load = 30 minutes, 25% of rated load = 1 Hour, 50% of rated load = 1 Hour, 75% of Rated load = 1 Hour, Full load = 2 Hour, 110% on rated load = 1 Hour, Full load = 2 Hour, 75 & of Rated load = 1 Hour, 50% of Rated load = 1 Hour, 25% of Rated load = 1 Hour, No Load = 30 Minutes. |

| 9 | Supply, laying, commissioning & testing of XLPE LT cable, 1100 volts grade, PVC insulated, heavy duty, armoured, multistrandedaluminium conductor cable of size 35 Sqmm 4 Core, laid in trenches, fixing on wall/ poles, under road crossing etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Necessary Earth work, sand cushioning and brick covering shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of this BOQ. |
| 10 | Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 mtr wide and not exc 1.5 mtr in depth for laying of XLPE cables, ducts, foundation etc. and getting out in any type of soil, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick, complete all as specified and directed. |

| 15 | M&L sub class \"B\"brick, old size, as in coverings, protection to the eletric cable, laid dry, flat, transversally along the length of cable on sand cushioning with width equal to length of brick, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 16 | M&L dry river sand, laid in trenches for cable protection, as 15cm thick below the cable and 8cm thick above the cable, complete all as specified and directed.Note :- Punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid. |
| 17 | M&L repairing of existingearthing by removing old concrete pit and making the same in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate) with 40mm thick RCC (type B-1) cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bar both ways with 12mm dia round bar handle and frame of angle iron 25x25x3mm with lugs-02 Nos all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I (2009), provision of 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade for existing earth strip protection and provision of watering funnel and wire mesh complete all as specified and directed including testing on completion. |
| 18 | NOTE :-An amount of Rs. 0.00 on account of Credit Schedule for Schedule \"A\" Part-II shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive at the contract sum. |
