| 7 | Providing and laying 8mm thick micro surfacing course comprising of dry fine aggregate confirming to Type-II grading of specification, polymer modified cationic slow setting bitumen emulsion (Having 60% binder content 3.60% polymer) ordinary portland cement, chemical additives and water in the following proportion. (fine aggragate conforming to type-II grading @ 9 Kg per sqm of road surface coverage. (ii) Bitumen emulsion @ 13.50%Kg by weight of fine aggrate. (iii) cement @ 1.50% by weight of fine aggrate. (iv) Aadditive @ 1.50% weight of fine aggregate including preparation of bituminous surface with mechanical means and applying a coat of tack coat with hot pressure spray using RS (Rapid setting) bitumen cationic emulsion confirming to IS-8887/ASTMD-297 @ 2.50Kg per sqm over bitumenous Macadam / Black topped surface of existing road complete all as specified and directed.Note:- (1) This item includes all the cost of labours and machineries of bitumen emulsion, ordinary portland cement, chemical additives, agregates and water. (2) This item includes the crack sealing wih bitumen of grade VG-30 sand grout, if any before applying micro surfacing layer. (3) This item includes the cost of making surface levelled with any mechanical means before appling micro surfacing layer, if the particular portion is having patch work above regular road level. |
