Design, Drawing, Construction, Testing and commissioning of Slow Sand Filter double units having an area of 64 sqm each with suitable under-drainage system, collection chamber including suitable filter media of following specification- P/L of bricks 2nd Class (Local 1st class) for under drainage system of filter media i/c carriage by mechanical transportation i/c loading, unloading and stacking at site. P/L 30cm thick gravel to be laid in layers of 10cm each having effective size of 2mm to 10mm for the top layer, 15mm to 25mm for the middle layer and 30mm to 40mm for the bottom layer. P/L 60cm thick Filter media sand which shall satisfy the following specifications in respect of quality, shape and size. a) Sand should be of hard and resistant quality free from clay and fine particles, soft grain and dirt of every description. b) Silica content should not be less than 90 percent.) Effective size should limit from 0.20mm to 0.30mm. d) Uniformity coefficient should not be less than 5%, with RCC outlet chamber, wash out system, providing, fixing and testing internal pipes, pipe specials etc. complete at Zikpi Tampak.
