| 1 | Material and labour for attending day to day complaints of E&M nature by means of checking unserviceable electrical fitting and fixture and emergent fault rectification in elctrical circuit includingno light , earth leakage, short cicuit, neutral breakmains /sub mains/internal circuits of existing system of main building / block ,making continious electric supply including carrying out minor repairs etc as required to make system in order / functional by replacing, copper cable , copper thimbles, glands, earthing wire complete all as specified and as directed as required at site by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE : - (a) Items reqd for replacement such as switchs, sockets for power/light/ fan/ bell/geyser points including complete will be measured and paid under respective items of BoQ. (b) Contractor rep/supervisor will report to MES Service Centrealongwith qualified/Experianced electrician and helper to collect dockets between 0900 hrs to 1000 hrs on all working daysfor rectification of complaints and resubmit the dockets after completion of each job of each jobon the same day.If contractor is failed to submit the docket within 48 hoursafter issuing of dockets , the contractor i liable to pay the penalty i.e. 20.00per docket per day till the re-submission of docket.(c) Contractor will attend emergent nature of work i.e. no light, short circuit after working hours/holiday as when ordered. The rate of the is deemed to be included in above quoted rates.(d) Penalties/recoveries shall be leviable due to absence of Electrician @ 800/- per day and Helper @ 500/- during the working day. |

| 82 | Taking down old unserviceable geyser of cap 25 ltrs including all necessary electrical/water connection and keeping in safe custody for reuse inciuding all necessary minor repairs /servicing etcand checking serviceability of parts, necessary cleaning, soldering / welding works as required & reassembling the geyser, making necessaryadjustment and refixing the repaired geyser in position, connecting to existing electric & water connectionsand testing at site complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : The cost of minor repair including following works deemed to be included in quoted rates. (a) Inspection of geyser after opening bottom cover plate.(b) Examine any water leakage from geyser/storage tank.(c) Carry out operation of all stop cocks, pressure reducing valves,etc. to ensure free movement of the working parts.(d) Replace washers and glands to ensure smooth functioning. (e) Inspect vent pipes and remove blockage obstruction if any. (f) Check and correct earth continuity of electrical items.(g) Check and correct temperature setting of thermostats. (h) Items reqd for replacement will measured under respective item of BOQ. |
