1	Maintenance and servicing of standby DG Set complete including draining out of diesel from tank , cleaningthe tank thoroughly and refilling the drained out diesel, draining out engine oil from the sump, cleaningthe sump thoroughly and refilling the sump with new engine oil to it’s required level & draining out of coolant from radiator, cleaning the radiator thoroughly and refilling the radiator with new coolant to it is required level. Replacing the fuel filter (primary & secondary filters), lubricating oil filter , check & clean air cleaner , change air cleaner elements, & make up the same filling the starting batteries with electrolyte/distilled water to maintain the required specific gravity, replace the u/s brass connectors for batteries, cleaning of battery terminals & applying petroleum jelly to battery terminal posts & brass connectors, including M & L for V Belts, checking of exhaust leakage, governor, breathers etc, adjust/set the same for proper functioning of DG Set, checking offuel, oil and water/ coolantlevel etc, adjusting and keeping the fan belts to the desired tension, tightening all the bolts and nuts to the required torque etc, cleaning the DG Set with accessories asprescribed by the manufacturer and test for satisfactory running of DG set for two hour at connected load and record shall be made in respect of RPM , oil pressure , oil temperature , coolant temperature, voltage , frequency , load current , battery charging , fuel consumption etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge for up to 20KVA DG setNote :-(a).Engine oil for filling will be measured and paid for separately as supply only. Labour element for filling of engine oil is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this acount. (b).Coolant for make up will be measured & paid for separately as supply only. Labour element for filling ofcooling is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account. (c).Testing will be carried out in presence of Engineer - in - charge.The rate of testing is included in this item and nothing shall be extra paid on this account(d).The Make of Fuel filter , Oil Filter , V belt & component will be as per manufactures recommendations ( Rate of fuel filter, oil filter, air filter and V belt shall deem to be included in quoted rate and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.)

15	Repair& Overhauling of radiator assembly up to 20KVA DG set by dismantling from engine ,transporting to the workshop and removing the sediments and scales, corrosion etc by means of acid, cleaning and high pressure water washing and air cleaning, gas welding / soldering with good quality material for stopping the leakage etc, re-assembling the same with new gaskets and transporting to the site, fixing to the engine with hoses, clips complete to the entire satisfaction of engineer - in - charge as required for following DG Sets:

66	Disconnecting, and taking out carefully unserviceable alternator, transformer and old pattern AVR ofany make and any capacityof DG Sets , dismantling andstrip opening of alternator for servicing, taking outand removing old burnt out winding and rewinding of alternator with existing gauge super enamelled copper wireas approved by the Engineer-in-Charge with insulatingmaterial such as luminous paper, latherized paper, cotton tape, glass sleeves, insulating varnish & alternators making new to shunt field coil,main poles, yoke, armature slot, armature, commutator, bushes, bearing, shaft magnatic, pole shoe, boring, making new to cleaning slots / Declaying of slots if it get damagedetc, including reassembling and fixing the same in position and testing alternator assembly, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: The contractor shall make all the arrangements for repair and rewinding of alternator, transformer and old pattern AVR ofany make and any capacityof DG Sets to make it functional however the payment shall only be made for the qty of copper wire used for winding.

239	Material and Labour for periodic inspection and servicing, to be carried out in every three months, and making/keeping the cranes serviceable, for cranes of 2/4 Ton capacity installed in various bldgs, including the following:- (i) LONG TRAVEL MOTION AND CROSS TRAVEL MOTION(a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates) (b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of Long travel & cross travel wheel for any noise/malfunctioning. (d) Checking grease of Geared couplings, nut tightening and replacement of grease nipple. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: Brake Oil shall be measured and paid separately as supply only rates) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value etc. (g) Checking the cut-off at extreme ends with the limit switch. (j) Checking and greasing of shaft pedestal.(ii) HOIST MOTION (a) Checking Gear box oil level and filling with required oil and rectification of leakages if any.(Note: Gear Oil shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates) (b) Brake adjustment (c) Checking of main bearings of the Rope Drum including greasing the same(d) Checking grease of Geared couplings and nut tightening. (e) Checking of oil in Hydraulic thruster brake, rectification of leakages if any and filling with required quantity of oil.(Note: Brake Oil shall be measured and paid separately at supply only rates) (f) Checking of electric motor connections, insulation resistance value. (g) Checking wire rope for any damage & greasing the rope. (h) Adjustment of the rotary limit switch. (j) Checking of Bearing of the Hook and greasing the same.(iii) ELECTRICAL PANEL (a) Checking the contactors for overheating or flashing. (b) General checking of contacts and connections.(c) Cleaning of control panels and checking of connections.(d) Checking of connections of VVVF drives/other drive, calibrating VVVF drive to get smooth movement & maximum efficiency / other drives for smooth functioning of the same.

NOTE :-(i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to test point upto length of 7.5 mtrs length shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) M&L for tubing GI med grade 40mm dia for protection ofearthing strip and passing the Road/passesand etc. shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (iii) On testing after completion if the desired resistance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department .
