Punched Tape Concertina Coil - 1A shall confirm to CQA(EE), Pune specification No. CQAE/5660/1602/a (including spike and handle) with dimensions as follows:- Dia of coil when closed :1050mm (+50mm- 0.00mm), dia of coil when opened 915mm (+50mm -0.00mm), wt of one coil : 15.2 Kg (+5% & -5 %) without packing material and coil wound with bituminized hessian cloth for providing protective coating as per standard specification. Punched tape concertina coil shall have a core wire of high carbon spring steel of high tensile strength not less than 1620 N/Sq mm. The punched tape and core wire are to be electro galvanised to provide protection against outdoor exposure with minimum zinc coating of 230 gm /sq m. The punched tape should be mechanically crimped over the core wire forming into a coil. Provn of steel clips to connect the individual turns of the coil to each other for to opens like an accordion. The width of strip shall be 19mm and spacing of clips shall be 23.5mm to 24.5mm C/C. Each coil to be slandered up to 12.50 mtr. All as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
