| 1 | Material and labour for cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 mm /150 MM/ 200 mm bore from solid/ liquid/ mud deposited in these lines manually by rodding with sewage drainage rods through connecting manholes and removing sludge to a distance not exc 500 m from outside periphery of defence land including cleaning sludge/ solid deposited from the ends as well as from intermediate manholes coming between these lines taking off & refixing of manholes, complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Rates quoted against the items shall deemed to include for all T&P and safety measures of workers/ safaiwalas(b) The lines measured once can not measured again within 3 months. If blocks in the same lines re-occur within 3 months the contractor will clean again & nothing will be paid extra for this. |

| 3 | NOTE:(i)The Contractor will employ a Supervisor alongwith suffaiwalas. The Supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily at AF station Mullanpur at 8:30 hrs to give feed back and completion report of all day to day sewage Complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract for complete tenure of contract including extension period if anyto collect the complaints and submit the complaint slip duly signed by user at 16:30 hrs the same day. It shall be the responsibility of contractor to ensure completion of complaints on daily basis.The quoted rate by the contractor against this item shall deemed to be included the cost of the aforesaid manpower.(ii) Recovery of Rs 500/- per day if safaiwala is found absent.(iii) Contractor shall be solely responsible for ensuring and supplying all the safety measure required by the safaiwalas during the currency of contract.(iv) All waste material shall be disposed off outside MOD land. (v) The contractor will ensure the cleaning/clearing of all the complaints (irrespective of Nos) within 24 Hrs of its raising by deploying additional sfaiwalas if required. Nothing extra will be paid on this account.(vi) The rates quoted in the above items includes cost of all the T&P like rods, bamboos, etc & safety measures, contractor shall be solely responsible for supplying all the T&P and safety measures required by the safaiwalas during currecny of contract. |
| 4 | Cleaning of underground sewage lines of 100 to 300 mm bore by excavation and breaking (minimum two length) and removing the blockage, laying new pipes, re-jointing with old pipes including haunching the new pipes with PCC (1:3:6), type C-2, using 40 mm graded aggregate in all locations where cleaning is not possible otherwise complete all as specified and directed.Note: Rates quoted by contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of necessary excavation, returning filling and disposal of excavated soil |
| 5 | Cleaning & clearing of solid/liquid mud/any type of solid content including mud,brick bats,empty containers of any type, polythene or any similar items deposited in underground sewage lines 100 to 600 mm bore laid in entire area (domestic as well as tech area) under Air Force Station Mullanpur and any depth upto 8 metres including manholes/inspection chambers of any size and any depth, using SUPER SUCTION MACHINE TRUCK MOUNTED HAVING SUCTION CAPACITY 1000 TO 4000 CUM/HRS, JETTING PUMP WITH WORKING PRESSURE AT LEAST 120 BAR having facilities of high presssure water thermoplastic fibre braided water jetting hose and through conical/round shape nozzler pipe, bottom surface of manholes/inspection chambers & sewage lines should be visible after cleaning process. Sludge /sludge water/any type of waste recovered from sewage lines/manhloes/inspection chambers shall be disposed off at authorised dumping site declared by local administration outside Ministry of defence land complete all as specified and as directed.NOTE:- (i) Payment shall be made to the contractor as under:- (a) 70% after cleaning/clearing the line. (b) 20% after three months (from the date of cleaning) (c) 10% (after four months from the date cleaning of line) or payment in final bill as applicable. (ii)Lines once cleared will be maintained through out the period of the contract. If there is any blockage during the period of the contract, the same will be cleared without any extra cost by the contractor. (iii)In case of any blockage is observed /found in any cleared line through super suction manchine during the time period of contract and it becomes necessary to clear the sewage line with machine, the same shall be cleared through manchine by the contractor without any extra cost to the department. The line shall be cleared by the contractor within 48 hrs after intimation to the contractor. The rate quoted by the contractor against this item shall be deemed to be inclusive of clearance of lines twice or more time as required during the whole contract period. |
