| 2 | Item No.1 :- Providing, engaging, and employing necessary skilled and unskilled labour for day-to-day operation, maintenance, and management of the entire Wena Water Supply Scheme. The scope includes regular operation of pumps at head works, complete operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) and pump house, maintaining proper pre- and post-chlorination, safe handling and replacement of chlorine cylinders, and ensuring uninterrupted water supply up to consumer water meter points, as per standard specifications and instructions of the Engineer-in-charge. The manpower to be deployed shall include Engineers, Vigilance supervisor, Pump Operators, WTP Operators, Electrician, Chemist, Valve Men, Helpers, and other supporting staff as required for smooth functioning of the system. The scope also covers all shifts, routine maintenance, preventive upkeep, cleaning of WTP, pump houses, and allied facilities, as well as operational monitoring to ensure treated water is delivered in compliance with prescribed water quality norms. The item excludes cost of chemicals and electricity charges. All works shall be executed strictly as per approved procedures and in a complete manner to the satisfaction and directions of the Engineer-in-charge. |
