| 2 | Material and Labour for preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 3 | Material and Labour for applying evenly a priming /tack coat with bituminous primer usingpaving bitumen of grade VG10@5Kg/10 Sqm on existing black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 4 | Material and Labour for bituminous semi dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix of paving bitumen VG-30, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient, mixing to be carried out in computerized automatic hot mix plant, laying and spreading by mechanical paver and rolled with 8 to 10 tonne power Vibromax/Tandam road roller to required level, gradient, camber and super elevation,complete all as specified and directed by the Engr -in -charge.Notes : (i) The work shall be carried out by using mechanical paver.(ii) The mix design shall be got done from approved lab and got approved from GE before commencement of work. |
| 5 | Material and Labour for 2.5 mm thick painting centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows letters etc on roads, pavement and like by applying reflective thermoplastic paint in white/ yellow colour pattern as specified strips confirming to BS:3262 (5Kg/Sqm) with glass beads potters (250 gms) and 10 cm/15 cm wide strips on bituminous road surface and road marking (by Hot Mechanical process with Road Marking Machine) including complete removal of dust particle by wire brushes or sweeping with brooms complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- Charge. |
| 6 | Material and Labour for premix bituminous macadam, consolidated thickness 75 mm or less, using 4% binder i.e. paving bitumen grade VG-30 by weight of total mix, and aggregate mixed in computerized hot mix plant, laid rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with the help of mechanical paver and power roller 8 to 10 tonne capacity complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. |
| 7 | Supply and fixing in repair 800mm to 1000mm dia convex mirror for visibility and fixed with 75mm dia GI pipe medium grade ISI mark (height of pipe not less then 1.50 meters from ground level) & embeded in post holes, (size 200mm x 200 mm x 400mm) in PCC 1:3:6, type C-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) & including earth work & excavation, RFR etc. complete all as specified and directed. |
