Transportation of potable water in bowser of capacity 20000 Liters, from Coast Guard Air Enclave to CG DHQ-1 Porbandar, including necessary loading from the sump at Air Enclave and delivering at the sump at CG DHQ-1 Porbandar, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE:- (a) The water will be supplied by the department at free of cost.(b) Main arrangement for filling of water bowser by opening and closing existing sluice valve is to be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Supply of potable water obtained from the source other than MD land in bowser of capacity 20000 Liters to CG station at CG DHQ-1/CG Jetty Porbandar, including filling water into bowser and unloading water in UG sump, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.NOTE:- (a) Transportation from source of water to delivery point as per actual distance shall be measured and paid separately.(b) The source of supply should be got approved before commencement of supplies.

NOTE for item No: 1 to 3:-(a) Number of bowsers required per day for each area shall be as directed by the Engr-in-Charge.(b) If in case, the contractor transports less number ofbowser than the required quantity without prior approval of Engr-in-Charge then for the difference in number of bowsers, penalty shall be levied at Rs. 1800/- per bowser or part thereof.(c) GE’s decision on penalty is final and binding.(d) A board of officers shall be ordered for determining the distance from the source of water to the place of delivery of water.(e) Measurement and payment for transport shall be made for the distance from the source of water to the place of delivery.(f)The contractor should have knowledge of local portable water reservoir, in case of emergency, water will be supplied without interruption to CG station. (g)In case of failure to supplies in emergency, penalty shall be levied at Rs. 5000/- per bowser or part thereof.(h)The contractor should have experience of 5 Years in relevant field. (j)The contractor should have good liaison with State water supply department or authorities.
