| 3 | C.AIR CIRCUIT BREAKER (ACB) SHALL BE AS UNDER 1. ACB shall comply with standards IS/IEC 60947-1 & 2.2. ACB shall have an operational voltage of 690V AC, rated insulation voltage of 1000 volts AC, rated for impulse voltage of 12kV.3. ACB shall be of 3pole or 4pole (as per BOQ). In case of TPN mentioned in BOQ, it shall be TP with solid link in neutral.4. ACBs shall be offered in frame sizes that are optimum for optimum panel dimensions. Thus, ACBs upto 2500A shall be offered in frame 1, 3200A to 4000A in frame 2 and 5000A to 6300A in frame 3.5. ACB shall comply with the environmental directives like RoHS. Product Environmental Profile shall be furnished to understand the environmental impact. 6. ACB shall have the breaking performance Icu = Ics = Icw (1sec) 7. ACBs shall be colour coded and shall be identifiable for different breaking capacities based on the colour code used.8. ACBs shall have provision for terminal separator by construction.9. It shall NOT be possible to rack out the ACB in ON condition and suitable racking handle shutter interlock with padlock arrangement shall be provided to ensure the safety of User and to avoid accidents.10. All air circuit breaker shall be fully tropicalized as standard & suitable for terminating copper bus bars.11.ACBs shall be provided with terminal adapters for proper cable connections/bus duct connections. | 5 | D. MOULDED CASE CIRCUIT BREAKERS (MCCB) SHALL BE AS UNDER 1. MCCBs shall be compliant with IEC 60947-2.2. MCCB shall have a operational voltage (Ue) of 550V, insulation voltage (Ui) of 800 V (AC 50/60 Hz) & impulse voltage (Uimp) of not less than 8kV. 3. The MCCBs shall have Ics= 100%Icu at operational voltage specified.4. MCCBs shall be current limiting type with load line reversibility. 5. MCCBs shall be actuated by a rotary-handle that clearly indicates the three distinctive positions:ON, OFF and TRIPPED. MCCB shall clearly indicate the suitability for isolation in the name plate identified by the symbol. 6. All MCCBs above shall have electronic trip units with following settings ranges.a.
