| 2 | Drilling of Trial Bores Hole 165.1mm (6.5 inch) dia from ground level to 100 meter in any strata by DTH METHOD method as per IS: 2800: 1979 (revised and amended) below ground level through any kind of strata soils/rocks, disposal of surplus soil within a distance of 100m, well ramming and stabilizing of material, transportation of drilling Rig and other T&P required, keeping space for pea gravel packing in and including lowering and extraction of casing pipe of suitable thickness after lowering of designed assemble of ERW pipe complete all as specified and as directed.Note:-(i) .ERW housing pipes shall be measured and paid separately.(ii). Casing pipe alongwith DTH drill pipes with tools shall be arranged by the contractor and the same shall remain property of contractor after extraction.(iii). In case of non extraction of casing pipe during the course of drilling or any misshappening, any type of fishing operation of failure of bore well the contractor will have no claim what so ever on this account Contd to Srl item No. 2 |
| 3 | (iv). Depending upon the availability of suitable water bearing strata, if drilling beyond 100 Mtr depth below ground level is required, drilling will be carried out only after written order is issued by GE(v). The rate for trial bore beyond 100 meter depth, if ordered by GE depending upon the CGWB recommendation or on the basis of the Electrical logging report or resistivity report it shall be admissible at the quoted rate of this item. (vi). Resistivity test shall be carried out by Geologist and report to be submitted before trial bore hole and cost for the same shall be included in the quoted rate by the contractor. (vii). Cost of Electrical logging deemed to be included in quoted rate by the contractor.(viii). The verticality test of the tube well structure shall be carried out by the contractor and the cost is deemed to the included in the quoted rate by the contractor.Contd to Srl item No. 1.02 |
| 4 | (ix). The contractor has to submit test result/report as per IS:2800 Part-II-1979 (with latest amendments) as following -(a) Results of the tubewell depth and water level measurements.(b) Results of development and drawdown test are to be given in tabular from as per relevant IS.(c) The verticality test report shall be given as per the relevant IS.(x). The housing/casing pipe shall be inserted only after certificate given by GE for successful trial bore hole. |
| 5 | Development of tube well by means of pumping by Air compressor of minimum pressure 1400 CFM 350 psi. (compressor to be arranged by contractor at his own cost), until sand free and clear water upto 5 PPM is obtained at optimum yield complete all as specified and directed:First 24 hours of development (collectively)Note:- The cost of the yield test by V notch method and testing of water sample (chemical and biological) from Government approved Laboratory/ Regional Research Laboratory to confirm the portability of water as per IS-10500-2012 shall be deemed to be included in the rates of Serial item No 6 to 6.01 above and nothing extra from the Department shall be admissible on this account. |
