| 1 | Notes:-(i) The entire scope of work is to be carried out from ground level to nearly upto 25 metres of height and scattered surfaces where necessary and not in one particular location.(ii) Quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive for boom lift/crane as required. Contractors should arrange boomlift/crane and takes all safety precautions for workers including accidental coverage insurance for workmen employed at the time of carrying out works as described in Sch \"A\"/ BOQ.(iii) Contractor should visit the site before quoting the tender to assess the resources required to execute the work as the site include prestigeous buildings of INA.(iv) Cost of all factors are deemed to be included in the rate quoted in BOQ. | 2 | Taking down existing water proofing treatment of any description over concrete padding of any thickness etc from roof including finishes or junction or parapet and cleaning the surface (by mechanical means like grinder, etc) and removal rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 10 | Material andLabour for providing roof treatment with 4 mm thick APP modified water proofing membrane weighing not less than 4.0 Kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester matt weighing not less than 160 gm/Sqm having softening point not less than 140 degree centigrade, longitudinal tensile strength not less than 800 N/5 cm, tearing strength of 180N by torch-on application with minimum 10 cm side over lap & 15 cm end laps applied over and including bitumen primer @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm. A coat of blown grade hot bitumen 90/15 shall be applied over the membrane @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm. The rate quoted by the contractor shall also include taking down and refixing PVC water tanks wherever required, providing additional spout pipes, cutting and mitring the membrane at rainwater pipes, cutting and inserting of membrane into walls/ parapet wall etc as per the site requirement. |

| 21 | Material & Labour for application of two coats of Tank Mastic bituminous Anti-corrosive Multi-purpose coating Make STP Ltd or equivalent on corrosive portion of MS sheet valley gutter as per manufacturer instruction complete all as specified and directed.Application Methodology(a) Surface Preparation - The surface shall be cleaned thoroughly of all contaminants like dust, traces of curing compound, oil and grease. All surface imperfections and protrusions shall be removed and repaired. (b) Material Preparation - Stir TankMastic thoroughly before use to make it homogeneous.After stirring, wait for the product to settle in order to let entrapped air escape.(c) Application of Material - Apply TankMastic as supplied on the prepared surface by brush / roller / spray as per manufactures instructions min spreading rate of 9 sqm per ltr (Depends on surface condition). Repeated coats can be given only after the earlier coat dries completely minimum 12 to 16 hrs after 1st coat. |
