The groove shall be cut on the concrete surface along the joint/crack over RCC structure tobe repaired complete all as specified and directed. |
| 2 | M&L for Drilling Holes of 12mm dia up to 100 mm deep holes in structural members at the interval of 300 mm in staggered manner or along the joint & crack line in Reinforced Concrete (RC) structural element including cleaning of the holes by air blower and inserting 12mm dia nozzle compatible with injector and having machined external end to receive outlet of Grouting Gun. Fix inside the hole by applying thixotropic epoxy adhesive SikaDur 31 or equivalent to ensure complete sealing and allow curing the system for minimum of 8 Hrs before Grouting including nozzle projections, excess putty, if any, over concrete element by grinding, leveling and finishing the external surface, after completion of the work, etc, Complete all as specified and directed. |
| 3 | M&L for Sealing of exposed \"V\" groove of 10mm wide and 30mm deep with Sikagard 694 F(l) or Quick Fix or equivalent solvent-free, moisture tolerant, thixotropic, two part structural adhesive and repair mortar cum surface levelling mortar. |
| 4 | M&L for injection grouting of construction joints with non shrink cement slurry admixed with epoxy grouting Cebex 100 of M/S Fosroc Chemical /SikaGrout -214 IN @ 300 mm C/C including of opening of cracks to a groove of size 12mm X 12 mm, Nozzle at 300 mm C/C including of opening of cracks to be grooved of size 10mm X 10mm fixing of nozzles with fast setting plugging compound Renderoc plug, cutting the extra length of nozzle after grouting all in complete as per manufacturers instructions including necessary scaffolding as required and as per the directions of Engineers incharge complete all as specified and directed.. Seal the nozzle with Sikagard 694 F(l) or equivalent thixotropic epoxy putty after the refusal of grout material from the nozzle. Note: leakage through other nozzle or cracks are required to be monitored while grouting and such points to be sealed as and when required without any extra cost. |
| 5 | M&L for providing & Applying Two coats of SikaTopseal 107 or Aqua Arm Top Guard or CICO tapecrete RTU inside of the wall & floor of the tank, a two components ready to use polymer modified cementatious coating . First Coat should be applied horizontzlly and second coat should be applied verticallyThe thickness of coating shall not be less than I .5mm. complete all as specified and directed. Note: Work to be executed by the authorized applicator of manufacturer only, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 6 | M&L for applying two coats Sikagard 67 or AquArm Tank Coat or CICO poxy FG 100, a water based epoxy coating certified for portable water on all over the concrete surface from inside.Apply the first coat by brush allow it to dry for 6-8 hrs and then apply 2nd coat and allow it to cure complete 24 hrs The coating shall be applied using brush application. The Thickness after two coating should not be less than 500 microns, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 7 | Examining concrete by tapping with light hammer and marking of the loose concrete areas of structural elements in straight line geometrical forms, grooving the edges same with grinder upto 5 -10 mm depth without damaging existing rebars, carefully removing unsound weak/ loose concrete/ cover & concrete around the rebars upto 10 mm depth by low impact high frequency hammer/ chipper without damaging the sound concrete, daily cleaning and stacking of debris at prescribed location in polypropylene/ paper bags, disposing off the debris so generated on weekly basis outside the premises, etc, complete all as specified and directed. |
| 8 | M&L for cleaning existing reinforcement with wire brush/rotary wire brush to make surface free from rust scales, loose material, dirt etc complete and applying two coats of alkaline rust converting primer Sika Rust Off 100 or ReArm Rust Remover with brush on the existing rebar for complete wetting of rusted metal surface and allowed to react it for 16-24 hours. After 24 hours, a white layer will appear which will protect further corrosion of metal / steel for about 5-7 days including surface preparation. Before applying protective coating, the surface should be wire brushed and thoroughly cleaned for dust with dry cloth, complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge |

| 10 | M&L for providing and Application Aqua Arm Coat-Zp as passivator/ Anti corrosion coating to the steel reinforcement shall be applied The material shall be two component, cement based polymer modified twocomponent coating for corrosion protection. The material shall be prepacked and ready to use. It shall be fully compatible with the reinstatement methods adopted complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. This shall include surface preparation and errection of steel porps as required for the application. complete all as specified and directed. |
| 11 | M&L of two component solvent free epoxy bonding agent Sikadur 32LP/ Re ArmSuperbond or equivalent for bonding old to new concrete . The ready to use epoxy bonding agent shall be applied over old concrete using brush after cleaning of surface of all dust or latiance. The material is supplied as a two part material in preweighed quantities for ready onsite mixing and use. The material shall exhibits the following properties Compressive strength 50 N/mm2 at 7D Flexural strenght 35N/mms at 7 D , Shear strength ION/mm2 at 7D and Tensile strength 20 N/mm2 and Bond Strength of ION/mm2.The new concrete shall be placed within the open time as specified by the manufacturer to ensure maximum bonding and application shall be doneas per the manufacturers instruction , complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 12 | Rebuilding the section of damaged RCC elements to its original size in thickness of 25mm by hand or spray application by Providing and applying Sika MonoTop@- 122F single component, fibre reinforced, sulphate resistant, low shrinkage, high performance cementitious structural repair mortar. Surface finish of the repaired surface by mortar prepared with Water proofing admixture WP-10 or Sika Latex SBR complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-charge. |
| 13 | Providing and fixing scaffolding system on the exterior side up to height of OHT (Approx 24 Mtr height) 1.5 m centre to centre using wooden balies as approved by Engr-in-Charge, challies and providing staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc and maintainaing it in a serviceble condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the structure etc whereever required for inspectionof work at required location with essential safety feature for the workmen etc complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (i) This item to be used for maintenance work judicially in consent with Engineer-in-Charge.(ii) The payment will be made once irrespective of durationi of scaffolding.(iii) Contractormay use steel members for scaffolding system. No Extra cost shall be admissible on this account. |
| 14 | Complete removal of the existing treatment and M&L for prepration and applying two coats of exterior weather proof superior tint paint of approved colour and shade including combination of two or more colour shade(colour and shade shall be approved by GE during execution of work) to OHT (reservoir) of upto 2 lakh gallons capacity on 18 to 24 mtr staging complete on domes (soffits, shell, roofs), pillars, shafts, etc on external surfaces including two coats of synthetic enamel paint on steel surface such as outlet pipes, inlet pipes, wash out pipes and railings, etc and two coats of white wash on shafts/internal surface of walls/ ceilings of approved make on projection, fins, etc including adopting all necessary safety measures for workman, hoisting/ lowering necessary scaffolding of various heights/sizes required complete all as specified and directed. |
| 15 | Note for item Sr No. 1 to 14:-(a)The work shall be executed directly by the manufacturer or their authorized applicator. Applicatorshall be authorized in writing by the manufacturer and guarantee/responsibility of work executed shall be owned by the contractor in writing. (b) Quoted rate shall be inclusive of material, all labours, tools &plants (c) Adoption of necessary safety arrangement like safety belts. ropes. helmets, netting etc. which are required for safety of working at height etc. which are required for safety of working at height of OHT shall be mandatary and deemed to be inclusive on quoted rates.(d)Biddermustsubmittheauthorisedapplicatorcertificateat the time of sample approval. (e)TheContractorshallgiveGuaranteeforstructuralrepairforaperiodof10(Ten)yearsfromthe certified date of completion. Similarly the Contractor shall take warrantyof structural repair/leakage/seepage for next 10 years of the work immediately after executions/ completion of work from the authorised applicator (f) An amount @ 2.5% of the total amount of treatment shall be retained as Guarantee money and shall be released after 10years.However contractor may deposit the FDR of same amount in favour of GE.If contractor fail to rectify the defect pointed out during this period in writting,the defect shall got rectified at Contracor;s risk and cost and the payment shall be made from the amount kept reserved or encashing the FDR deposited by the contractor as guarantee.The contractor\"s quoted rates for this item shall deemed to be inclusive of this aspect. |
