Excavation in both wet and dry condition by mechanical means of all kinds of soil including stony earth, gravel & moorum etc. inter spread with boulders up to 1/2 cum size with all leads, lifts, delifts, handling and rehandling etc. complete including trimming of slopes & bed to design section & depositing the excavated materials away on both side of the drain including spreading, leveling the earth in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm including hire & running charges of all machineries, T& P, cess etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
