Providing and laying pressed clay tiles (as per approved pattern 20 mm nominal thickness of approved size) on roofs jointed with cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) mixed with 2% integral water proofing compound, laid over a bed of 20 mm thick cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) and finished neat complete.

Dismantling tile work in floors and roofs laid in cement mortar including stacking material within 50 metres lead. For thickness of tiles 10 mm to 25 mm

Removal of existing AAP/Bituminous membrane by mechanical grinding and preparation of entire surface area by chemical wash making it free from loose particles.

Providing and applying water proofing compounds of 100% solvent free solids comprising two compounds namely polyurethane and hybrid polyurea forming combained thickness of 1500 microns on the entire surface of the terrace and parapet wall, extending the application of waterproofing compounds outside the parapet wall upto the minimal depth ofr 100mm below the top of walls including joints of roof slab and parapet wall, corners, khurras and rain water pipes etc, complete as per the direction of engineer-in-charge to be applied detailed as under. A.) Preparation of surface area by chemical wash making it free from loose particles and making good the existing surface for application of the waterproofing compound.B.) Priming Coat: Applying solvent free damp tolerant polyuretane primer( 0.15 Litres/Sq.M).C.) Base Coat: Applying solvent free hybrid polyurea 500 microns (0.5 litres/Sq.M) meeting the following parameters: a) Defect free substrate, b) Adhesion (ASTM D 4541) > tensile strength of concrete, c) Tensile Strength > 6 N/mm², d) Elongation 400%, e) Root resistant,f) Tear Strength > 15 N/mm².D.) Top Coat: Applying solvent free polyurethene 1000 microns ( 1 Liter/Sqm) meeting the following parameters:a) Tensile Strength > 15 N/mm²,b) Elongation 120%, c) Hardness > 65 Shore D (>100 for Shore A),d)Tear Strength > 50 N/mm²,e) Water absorption (ASTM D 570, Para 7.4) <0.6%,f) Abhrasion Resistance 55 mg (ASTM D 4060), g) Puncture resistance (ASTM E 154) 800 N & Root Resistant,h) Crack spanning capacity (Combo System) > 8.00mm. In addition to the above , the following conditions to be followed:1. The Contractor/Agency has to submit warranty on a judicial Stamp Paper of Rs.200/- for water proofing for 10 years from the date of completion of work.2. During defect leability period/warranty period, any rectification if required shall be attended by the agency within a week time.3.
