| 3 | M&L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or basalt of grading 2(63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber with power roller (exc 8 and not exc 12 tonne) complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 4 | M & L for preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked, mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and as directed. |

| 8 | M&L Premix bituminous macadam with 4% binder content by weight of total mix (using paving bitumen VG-30) laid/rolled and compacted to required graduent and camber rolled/laid with power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm) including preparation of area before laying of macadam complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- i) Exact quantity of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design mix. ii) Minimum 4% of binder shall be used. However incase more than 4% of binder content isrequiredas per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost. |
| 9 | Material and Labour for bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete 40 mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (paving bitumen grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix spread evenly with mechanical paver to desired thickness and to the correct camber, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient with 8 to 12 tonne power roller/vibratory roller/double drum or tandem roller as suitable complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge.Note:-i) Premix SDAC shall be shall be procured from a hot mix plant.ii) Exact quantity of binder to be used shall be ascertained by Design Mix as specified.iii) The binder content in the mix shall be minimum 5.5% by weight of total mix. However in case more than 5.5% binder content is required as per design mix, the same shall be provided by the contractor at no extra cost.iv) Binder content and density testing equipment should be readily available at site. |
| 10 | M&L 100 mm thick for moorum/red bajri in formation, berms etc spread and compacted to and rolling shall be done by 8-12 tonne power roller to reqd gradient and camber complete all as specified and as directed. |
| 11 | Material and Labour for road marking strips, lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc of 2.5 mm thick (Reflective type) of colour of white or golden wellow on roads, pavements and the like with hot thermo plast materials by fully autumatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispensor, propane tank heaters and profile shoe heater, driven by skilled operator on road surface including cleaning the road surface of all dirt, scales, oil, greases and foreign materials etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. |
| 12 | M & L for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc 10cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. |
