| 3 | Alternator Specifications: Alternator suitable for continuous operation generating 320 KVA at 1500 RPM, 415 Volts, 0.8 power factor (lag) suitable for 50 Hz, 3 phase, 4 wire system, confirming to BS 5000 / IS 4722. The alternation is brushless type, screen protected, revolving field, self-excited, self-regulated through an AVR. The alternator has the following features: - - + 1.0% voltage regulation (max.) in static conditions. - IP: 23 protection with insulation class H. - Permissible overload of 10% for one hour in 12 hours of operation. |
| 4 | Note:-(i) The old unserviceable DG Set 275 KVA capacity shall be removed from the site and shall be property of the contractor, for which credit shall be deducted separately as per Schedule of credit separately. (ii)DG set will be tested on load for rated KW rating. DG Set shall be operated for a period of 12 Hrs on rated KW of DG Set\"s KW rating including one hour on 10% over load, after continuous run of 12 Hrs.(iii) The following work shall be done by the contractor and therefore, the cost shall be deemed to be included in the schedule of work:-(a)Minor civil work i.e. makingopeniing on wall for fixing exhaust pipes, fuel pipes lines, LT UG cables etc.(b) Making necessary electrical cable connectionsof incoming / outgoing LT UG cables between DGset AMF panel & Main distribution Electrical Panel outgoing LT UG cables, all as required at site and as directed. (c)Making good the all disturbed/ damaged surfaceand matching to its original finish. |
