| 1 | Supply, installing, commissioning and testing complete of Manufacturer or OEM (Original Eqpt Manufacturer) manufactured and tested silent Diesel Engine driven generating set capable of delivering 160 KVA (128 KW), or nearest higher rating, 415 volts (AC 3 Phase, 4 wire system of supply), 50 Hz to operate at a powers factor of 0.8. The DG set shall consist of a diesel engine coupled through flexible coupling to a matching alternator and mounted on AVM pads (As per respective Mnufacturer Design ) on a common base frame all as specified complete with control panel standardised by manufacturer, fuel tank with mounting arrangement and inlet, outlet, return oil arrangement, flexible exhaust pipe as per IS 10001/10002 and alternator as per IS 13364 complete with relay panel and switch gears for automatic starting on main failure, control panel having meter and sound proof canopy as per CPCB IV+ norms and including foundation and control cabling & power cabling with end terminal connections. The DG set shall comprise of the following: - |
| 2 | (a) Engine (Prime Mover) :Diesel engine 6 cylinders, inline, 4 stroke cycle, water cooled, gross engine power minimum of 200HP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of ISO 3046, or having suitable HP as recommended by manufacturer, Turbocharged, the engine shall be provided with electrical starging arrangement and give the electrical output of 160 KVA/128 KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 volts at the alternator terminal. 2 x 12 V DC 180 AH batteries,confirming to BS 5514,BS 649 and IS 10000 complete with fly wheel and all standard fittings/ fixtures as per manufacturing practice including suitable engine control panel with tachometer, lube oil temp & pressure gauges, water temp gauge, and frequency meter(digital type) (including safety shutdown contents) and also including self starter,dynamo,fuel tank etc. |
| 3 | (b)Alternator : AC alternator, self excited, self regulated, self ventilated, brushless design, conforming to BS 2613 / 5000, 3 phase , 415 volts, 4 wire rated line current 223 amps for outputPF 0.8, 1500 RPM, insulation class ‘H’ Temprature Reise H @ 125 Deg C; Enclosure IP 23confirming to IS-4722 / BS-2613 complete with AVR with + 1 % voltage regulation,directly coupled to and match the above engine with unbalancing load capacity of 25% of rated Amps. |
| 4 | (c) Anti-vibration pads for mounting engine – alternator assembly on the base frame/ plate. |
| 5 | (d) Base Frame : One no. MS Fabricated adequately machine Channel Common Base Frame with lifting facility, pre-drilled foundation holes suitable for permanent installation on concrete foundation for direct grouting or on anti-vibration mountings which will be suitable to receive the offered engine and alternator duly coupled through a flexible coupling. A suitable coupling guard shall also be provided. |
| 6 | (e) Silencer: Critical Gradeand exhaust gas piping system of suitable dia MS pipe of \"B\" class of required legth as per CPCB IV+ norms with necessary bends, supports and clamps anti vibration mounting inulated with rockwool 50 mm thick with wire mesh and aluminium clading complete all as specified. |
| 7 | (f) Fuel tank of capacity min 250L or as specified by the manufacturer, made of 14 SWG CRCA MS sheet, duly powder coated and provided with float, gauge and fuel float switch. |
| 8 | (g) Emission limit & smoke limit for DG set shall be as per CPCB IV norms applicable at the time of bidding. |
| 9 | NOTE:- 1) Anything missed out in the technical specifications but technically required for efficient working of DG Set is deemed to be included in the quoted rates.2) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of first fill of engine oil & final successful acceptance test.3) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of 12 Hrs test run at site as specified in the PS in presence of rep of Accepting Officer; all testing arrangements / equipment’s, resistive load including POL shall be made available by the contractor.are to be included.4) The quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive of the PCC foundation required for placing the DG set and it should be as per the manufacturers recommendation.DG Set should comply CPCB IV+ or Latest CPCB norms applicable at the time of bidding.5) The Location of Installation is situated in highly secured area and there is space constraint also for loading/unloading of the DG set, requiring crane or other heavy machinery during installation. So contractor are advised to visit the site before quating the rate. No additional Charges will be paid for the loading/unloading. |
