| 1 | Providing and laying unscreened gravel boulders to a specified consolidated thickness for sub base course including satcking of the material to the departmental gauge on road side for pre – measurement.The volume of stacks calculated as per the actual measurement shall be reduced by 15% for looseness in stacking to arrive at the net quantity. The rate shall including labour charges for spreading and hand packing to the required camber and graded and rolling with power roller hire and fuel charges for all tools and plants employed and the cost of the boulders etc., complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. |
| 2 | Providing, laying, spreading and compactingstone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth three wheeled steel roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming requisite Crushable type such as Moorum/ gravel for screening and gravel for binding to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density - by mechanicalmeans - Water bound macadam Gr-I with Gravel screening. | 5 | Providing and laying bituminous macadam with hot mix plant of capacity not less than 40 -60 TPH using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 507.7 of MoRTH specification, 4th Revision, to achieve the desiredcompaction. - using grade II metal and bitumen VG 30. |

| 7 | Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5m in width or 10sqm on plan) including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms for all lift including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, within a lead of 50m- all kinds of soil. |
