| 12 | Providing metalling leveling course as semi grout for filling pot holes and dips in road using departmental materials viz; 36 mm metal & VG-30 bitumen @ 27.50 Kg/Cu.m of metal after forming the potholes to regular shape, removing loose and defective material,applying hot bitumen with pressure sprayer and compacting with power roller / iron rammer to get a compact surface including hire for roller, boiler, sprayers, cost of fuel and oil, wire brushes, pouring cans, lighting, watching and other sundry stores etc.complete as instructed at site(Measurement will be based on stack measurement for 36 mm broken stone vide seperate item). |
| 13 | Providing an extra premix layer for leveling the severely damaged portion of road and to obtain a level surface to receive chipping carpet using departmental materials viz; 18 mm stone aggregate, bitumen @ 48 Kg/Cu.mof metal & bitumen emulsion @ 6.25 kg/m3 for tack coat) after forming the potholes to regular shape, removing loose and defective material, applying hot bitumen with sprayer as tack coat,laying hot premix and rolling untilcoarse aggregate has a firm surface including hire for roller, boiler, sprayers,wire brushes, pouring cans etc, cost of fuel, oil etc, lighting, watching and other sundry stores etc.complete including charges for picking the existing damaged road surface to the required depth and removing all waste/earth etc.from the road surface (Measurement will be based on stack measurement vide item of 18 mm broken stone). |
| 14 | Providing 40 mm pre-mix Bituminous Mecadam over existing metalled surface with departmental broken stones and bitumen after thoroughly cleaning the existing surface with compressed air, wire brushes, brass brooms and applying an emulsion priming coat of 6 Kg/10 M2and spreading the hot pre-mix (departmental materials formed of 0.32 Cu.m of 24 mm broken stone, 0.22 Cu.m of 12 mm broken stone and 25.92 Kg bitumen/ 10 Sq.m) to template rolling to dense compact surface, then spreading the seal coat (comprising of hot pre-mix of 0.09 Cu.m of 6 mm broken stones and 8.64 Kg of bitumen per 10 Sq.m) over a tack coat of bitumen @ 3Kg/10 Sq.m , rolling again to smooth finish, finally spreading fine aggregate(quarry dust) and rolling if required including cost of oils and fuels, hire for boiler, sprayer, roller and brushes etc. complete.( Total usage of VG 30 bitumen 40.56 Kg/ 10 Sq.m). |
| 15 | Providing and applying 2.5 mm thick road marking strips (retro reflective) of specified shade / colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully / semi automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe, glass beads dispenser, propane tank heater and profile shoe heater, driven by experienced operator on road surface including cost of material, labour, T&P, cleaning the road surface of all dirt, seals, oil, grease and forgien material etc. complete as per direction of Engineer in charge and accordance with applicable specifications. |
