| 1 | NOTES / INSTRUCTIONS FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE :-(a) The contractor shall obtain sample approval for all materials incorporating in the work as per condition 10 of IAFW-2249 and Special Condition 11 of tender document mentioned here-in-after.(b) The Engineer-in-charge may direct the contractor in writing to procure and deposit up to 50% quantity of the material with in 30 days from the date of commencment as required at site out of quantity to complete the scope of work. Remaining 50% shall be procured as per site requirement during progress of work.The decision shall be final and binding on the contractor.(c) The contractor shall deposit the procured material to the store of concerned subdivision within 30 days from the receipt of written direction. Failing which contractor shall liable to pay a penal recovery of Rs. 5000/- per week, levied on the dues of contractor, subject to maximum up to 10% of the work done/CA Amount whichever is higher.(d)The contractor shall obtain approval of “Qualified Tradesman” as per condition 26 of IAFW-2249 before commencement of work at site and shall have sufficient manpower such as Electrician / FGM / Technicianetc., readily available to meet the site requirement during emergency situation as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge.(e) The quoted rates shall be inclusive of cost of necessary Tools, Plants, Safety Equipments, Machinery etc., as per site requirement. |

Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 30 cm (minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing.(v) Applying one coat of hot blown bitumen 85/25 @1.2 Kg/Sqm over APP membrane & finally finishing with a coat of bituminious aluminium primer @ 0.100 Kg/Sqm.Note :- (a) Laying APP based polymeric membrane shall be done by torch on method as per manufactures instructions. (b) A minimum overlap of 100 mm and 75 mm should be made at the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and all overlaps and joints shall be sealed as per manufacturers instruction. |
