2
Mobilization & demobilization of rotary drilling macine, tools, equipment, and manpower, including all transportation and setup required for commencing the investigation work. Setting out and establishing borehole locations at site, setting up boring at each bore locations, marking location, preparing the area and arranging all necessary utilities, tools, machineries and temporary works for borinng and field tests and collection of samples. Conducting all required laboratory tests on collected samples per bore as per IS standards, to determine index properties, grain size analysis, shear parameters, natural moisture content, bulk density and all other required geotechnical characteristics required for ascertaining the foundation and preparation and recommendations in the report. Preparation of soil profiles and cross-sections; interpretation of field and laboratory test results; analysis of geotechnical parameters; and determination of foundation recommendations, including safe bearing capacity, settlement and other design requirements and shall be recorded and described as per standrad form in accordance with relavant IS codes. The Soil Investigation Report shall be prepared and certified by a qualified geotechnical engineer with a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant professional experience in the field and shall be submitted as a final report comprising two (2) hard copies and one (1) soft copy, including bore logs, test results, analyses, recommendations, calculations and all supporting data, complete as per direction of Engineer-in -charge.
