| 3 | Terminal Arrangement:[i] HV side: Cable Box and LV Side: Bus Duct connection[ii] Quad furcating cable box with five compression glands for PVC Cable and One additional neutral terminal shall be brought out separately for earthing purpose on LV Side.[iii] First filling of new and unused Transformer Oil [IS – 335 Marked], filtered and tested up to 60KV dielectric strength at 2.5mm air gap between testing electrodes. Certification of dielectric strength shall be submitted by the Contractor after filling the oil.[iv] Apart from routine tests mentioned in these tender documents and relevant IS, pre-commissioning inspection of Transformer shall be carried out by Senior Electrical Inspector / Electrical Inspector.[v] All necessary arrangements with devices for measuring the temperature of core winding and oil shall be done by contractor deemed to be included in the quoted rate[vi] Platform for placement ofTransformer shall be as per the manufacturer\"s instructions complete all as specified and as directed. The cost of platform is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. [vii] The drawings of the transformer should be approved by the accepting officer before placing order.[viii] The factory acceptance test to be done by the rep of Accepting officer prior to dispatch. |

| 7 | [viii] Platform: Platform for the transformer shall be provided as per IE rules of size not less than 2.0mx2.0mx1.8m made of brick masonry using fly ash bricks built in CM 1:6 over 100mm thick concrete bed in PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate over 150mm thick hard core of gauge not exc 63mm of broken stone or boulders, deposited, spread and levelled in layers including providing 100mm thick PCC 1:2:4 coping in type B-1 over top of platform and rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 finishing the surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement and applying three coats of white wash including necessary excavation, earth work as required complete all as per manufacturers instructions and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge |
